(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Kafa and His Wife Ms. Yu Guixia Arrested and Detained

1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Gangli Persecuted in Prison

Ms. Liu Gangli, 60, was sentenced to four years and six months in prison and was imprisoned on August 16, 2022. She is currently detained at No.4 Ward, No.2 Prison of Liaoning Province.

For the first six months after Ms. Liu was imprisoned, her family was not allowed to visit her. Then she was allowed to be visited once every two months for 10 minutes each time. When her family went to visit her in September 2024, they were told that the visit this month was postponed to next month.

2. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhu Xixia Facing Trial

Ms. Zhu Xixia will be soon tried in court.

3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] The Case Against Ms. Qi Ling Submitted to the Procuratorate

The case against Ms. Qi Ling was submitted to the Hongshan District Procuratorate.

4. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Sun Dede Arrested and Detained

Mr. Sun Dede was arrested in Shaertu on August 6, 2024. He is currently detained in the Lidian Detention Center.

5. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Naxin Arrested and Detained

Ms. Chen Naxin was arrested by five plainclothes officers from the Rongyuan Police Station at 11:30 p.m., August 20, 2024. Her home was ransacked. The police confiscated the Dafa books, the photo of Falun Gong's founder, computer, cell phone, and other items. Ms. Chen was detained in the Changsha City Detention House for 7 days.

6. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Contact Lost with Ms. Zhou Jingli

Ms. Zhou Jingli, over 80, has not been heard from since June 2024.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested or Harassed

Ms. Zhang Fengyan was arrested by three officers from the Chaoyang District Police Department on the early morning of September 7 or 8, 2024.

Practitioner Sun, over 80, was harassed at home by five officers from the Chaoyang District Police Department at 10 a.m. on September 8, 2024. The police confiscated a Dafa book and two media players.

Practitioner Qi received a harassing call from the Yangjiaweizi Police Station on September 8, 2024.

Ms. Zheng Shulan was arrested and taken to the East Chaoyang Road Police Station on the morning of September 12, 2024.

8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Xiaofeng and Ms. Zhao Guiping Arrested and Detained

Mr. Liu Xiaofeng and Ms. Zhao Guiping were arrested at Ms. Zhao Guiping’s home by officers from the Quanyuan Police Station in Shenhe District. The two practitioners were taken to the Zaohua Detention House.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Kafa and His Wife Ms. Yu Guixia Arrested and Detained

Mr. Wang Kaifa and his wife Ms. Yu Guixai were arrested in Harbin City on August 22, 2024 by officers from the Beijing Road Police Station in Harbin City, officers from Kaifeng City of Henan Province and officers from Zibo City of Shandong Province. The police ransacked the couple’s home and confiscated over 200 items including books, paper bills, stamps, and other items. They are currently detained in the No. 2 Detention Center of Harbin City.
