At noon on all four days, Falun Dafa practitioners demonstrated the exercises, displayed banners, and re-enacted forced organ harvesting on Donners Plats in the center of the city. A Chinese couple was surprised to see so many practitioners of other ethnicities practicing Falun Dafa.

At the 2024 Healthy Gymnastics Festival, a Batam City Government-sponsored fitness event, city officials learned the Falun Gong exercises, along with police academy trainees and members of community sports associations. Many people quickly appreciatied the benefits of this mind-body cultivation practice.

Passersby and tourists had an opportunity to learn about Falun Gong and that its practitioners in China have been persecuted since July 1999.
