My Gratitude to Dafa Is Infinite

(Minghui.org) What I encountered lately made me think a great deal. My gratitude for Falun Dafa is infinite.

While I was talking to two college students about Falun Dafa at a bus station on March 4, 2023, the two young women appeared to be very receptive and listened attentively. When I was ready to leave, one of them asked for my contact information. I didn’t give it to her.

When I was ready to cross the street, three police officers suddenly appeared in front of me and shouted, “Falun Gong!” Their voices sounded as if they were coming from another dimension. Before I could react, two of them yelled at me, “You promote Falun Gong! Give us whatever is in your hand!”

I handed them the commercial flyer I was holding and looked up to see an officer videotaping me with a camera.

Then an older officer said to me, “You don’t have to say anything. Go home.” I turned around and walked away. When I was about 30 meters (about 33 yards) away, he actually ran after me and shouted, “You can go home now.”

This tribulation was so dramatic and happened so quickly. I’m thankful for Master Li’s (Dafa’s founder) protection. I was also surprised at how calm I was during the entire incident.

I thought it over afterward and wondered why it happened. I remembered Master’s new scripture, “How Humankind Came To Be,” which told us to “stay good and kind” and “have gratitude.” I realized that I have so much to be grateful for.

So Grateful to Have Become a Dafa Disciple

I am grateful to Master for choosing me among all sentient beings to be a Dafa disciple in the Fa-rectification period, a title that even gods envy. I am also grateful to Master for his guidance and protection throughout my 26 years of cultivation, keeping me on track so that my journey has been smooth and solid.

On the first day I started to cultivate, Master opened my Celestial Eye and has shown me many beautiful scenes as I cultivated.

Over the years, I have truly felt that Master is by my side all the time, watching over me, protecting me, and guiding me whenever I get off track, making sure that I can overcome one hurdle after another. Whenever I look back on those seemingly insurmountable hurdles and difficulties that Master helped me overcome, I can’t help but cry. I am profoundly aware that Master’s grace is immense and is hard to repay!

My Gratitude for Having My Mind and Body Purified

I am grateful to Master for enlightening me and guiding me when I went through karma elimination during an illness.

Master said:

“This is the principle at high levels of the cosmos: You think someone is good enough, so you choose him—that’s the principle. “Cultivation? We didn’t arrange cultivation for him. What’s cultivation? We just want to cleanse, cleanse step by step, all the way up. Cleanse it—it’s as simple as that!” (Teachings Given on Lantern Festival Day, 2003)

I once had a stroke and my stomach bled many times. During the worst of it, I spit up half a basin of blood. I had vomiting and diarrhea for close to six months and lost 30 pounds.

No matter how serious my sickness karma, I firmly believed Master was cleansing my body and that only with Master’s protection could I overcome the tribulation safely. I know very well how much of Master’s effort and endurance it entails. Whenever I passed the test of sickness karma, I would thank Master profusely, “Thank you, Master! Thank you, Master!” This is my heartfelt gratitude to Master.

I Am Grateful for My Cultivation Environment

I am grateful for Master granting me wisdom, abilities, and courage during the process of assisting Master in Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings. As of now, I’ve persuaded over 30,000 people to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its youth organizations. Nearly 200 of them also became Dafa practitioners.

I am grateful for my solid cultivation environment and all the support I get from fellow practitioners and non-practitioners.

I am grateful to fellow practitioners for their selfless and fearless efforts in assisting Master to rectify the Fa and saving sentient beings over the years. They have made it possible for so many people in the public security bureau, procuratorate, and judicial departments to understand the truth and make the right choice. Thus, when Dafa disciples were in custody, they were able to help them out. Moved by how these people have awakened, I am even more grateful to Master for his compassionate salvation of all beings.

I am also grateful for the people who caused tribulations for me—like the two college students I mentioned above. That encounter made me seriously search for my deep-seated attachments and uncultivated human heart.

A fellow practitioner once wrote: “In the world of faith, we should be grateful for everyone; in the world of cultivation, everyone is helping us to succeed.”

Let us enlighten to Master’s teachings, fulfill our responsibilities, and return to our heavenly homes with Master.
