1. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Yandong Sentenced to Three Years and Transferred to Prison

Mr. Wang Yandong was arrested and detained on April 24, 2021. He was sentenced to three years in prison and fined 20,000 yuan by the Lianshan District Court in Huludao City on November 25, 2021, along with another practitioner Gao Hua, who was sentenced to four years and fined 30,000 yuan.

Mr. Wang was detained in the Shuizhong County Detention Center until he was transferred to the Panjin Prison on January 7, 2022. His family was unable to see him before his transfer.

2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yang Zhi and His Wife Ms. Luo Guoping Arrested

Mr. Yang Zhi and his wife Ms. Luo Guoping live in the No. 2 New Area of 398, Pidu District, Chengdu City. The couple was arrested at home at around midnight on January 21, 2022.

3. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Yuli’s Pension Suspended

Ms. Huang Yuli, a retired teacher from the No. 8 Primary School in Leizhou City, was arrested on November 22, 2020 for distributing truth-clarifying materials in Zhongshan City. She was later sentenced to one year in prison by the Zhongshan City Court. After she was released, she found that her pension was suspended by the Leizhou City Human Resources and Social Security Department. She went to the related government branches to solve the issue, but her efforts were in vain.

4. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Guanghua Arrested

Ms. Zhou Guanghua from Xingquan Village of Aoping Town was arrested around January 22, 2022.

5. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] 18 Practitioners Arrested

Seventeen practitioners were arrested at their homes in the villages and towns in Shenze County around midnight on January 10, 2022. The group arrests were conducted by officers from the police departments in Shenze County and Shijiazhuang City. The officers went to Ms. Guo Huili’s home that night and ransacked it. Her computer and printer were confiscated. Ms. Guo was not taken away because her disabled son had no one else to care for him. However, she was placed under residential surveillance. Several plainclothes officers took turns watching her at her home in three shifts 24 hours a day.

Practitioner Jinxue (surname and gender unknown) from Xihe Village of Qiaotou Township was arrested on the evening of January 20, 2022.

The practitioners were all detained in Jinzhou City nearby. They were aggressively interrogated because the police attempted to close the cases before the Chinese New Year.

6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Honghong Arrested

Ms. Li Honghong was reported to the police for distributing a calendar and was arrested at home by officers in the Heping District around 5 or 6 p.m. on January 23, 2022.

7. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Yurong Arrested

Numerous officers from Ma Town went to Ms. Yang Yurong’s home around 9 p.m. on January 25, 2022. They ransacked Ms. Yan’s home and arrested her.

8. [Yinan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Meng Xiangling Harassed

Ms. Meng Xiangling from Mamuchi Township was harassed by three officers from the township police station, including the head of the police station on January 25, 2022.

9. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Kuanfen and Ms. Leng Arrested

Ms. Yang Kuanfen and Ms. Leng were arrested on January 24, 2022 for talking to people about Falun Gong.
