(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Dongning County, Heilongjiang Province] Tong Minghui Arrested

Tong Minghui lives in Fendou Village, Daohe Town, Dongning County. Because Tong refused to sign a guarantee statement, Tong was taken from home by local police officers and local government officials on October 24, 2022. Tong’s whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhong Liena and Ms. Wu Rongduan Arrested

Ms. Zhong Liena and Ms. Wu Rongduan from Rongcheng District were arrested by officers from the Ronghua Police Station on the afternoon of November 25, 2022. Ms. Wu was released two days later. Ms. Zhong is detained in the Meiyun Drug Rehabilitation Center.

3. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Xiaocui Arrested and Detained

Ms. Wang Xiaocui from Youyi County was arrested by the county police in October 2022. She is detained in the Jixian County Detention Center.

4. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Luo Baofang and Her Husband Mr. Ge Maosen Persecuted

Ms. Luo Baofang who works in the Hongxinglong Management Bureau in Youyi County is still detained. Her husband Mr. Ge Maoshen was released before October 1, 2022.

5. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Li Faces Trial

Ms. Zhao Li from Longfeng District has been arrested and detained for over four months. She will be tried in the Gaoxin District Court at 2 p.m. on December 1, 2022.

6. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Fang Arrested and Detained

Ms. Zhang Fang from Chaoyang District was arrested at home by officers from the Sihui Police Station on March 9, 2022. She has been held in the detention center since then. Her health deteriorated because she had to sleep on the concrete floor. She was taken to the Police Hospital twice. She was transferred to the Chaoyang District Detention Center.

7. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Five practitioners are currently held in the Xialufenglieshan Detention Center. They are Luo Wen, Ms. Zhang Shufen, Ms. Zhang Zehui, Ms. Dong Guizhi, and Ms. Li Qiyao.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jiang Bing Persecuted

Ms. Jiang Bing was followed and arrested when she distributed information about Falun Gong on the afternoon of November 11, 2022. She refused to cooperate and was beaten and scolded at the police station. Her home was ransacked the next day. Ms. Jiang was taken to the No.2 Detention Center on November 13, 2022. At first, the detention center refused to accept her, but she was eventually taken in.

In the detention center, Ms. Jiang had one foot shackled. She was not allowed to lay down but could only sit up. She was forced to take medicine every day, which caused her to become nauseated. She vomited and had difficulty breathing. Her brother paid the bail and took her home on November 28, 2022. Ms. Jiang’s face and legs were swollen. She had difficulty walking by herself.

9. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lu Cuirong Harassed

Ms. Lu Cuirong was harassed at her workplace by five people from the Meishan City 610 Office, the Suci Police Station, and the Furong Community Office, in late September 2022. She was pressured to sign a guarantee statement, which she refused.

10. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Persecuted

Xu Jianping and Li Jiabi were arrested at home by five officers from the Shiliuyuan Police Station in the Fengtai District on September 6, 2022. Their homes were ransacked and their Falun Gong books were confiscated. The two practitioners were taken to the police station for interrogation. Li Jiabi was released after midnight because of old age and poor health. Xu Jianping has been detained at the Shiliuyuan Police Station since then.

Li Jiabi was followed and tracked after being released. Li Yuhua was also under surveillance.

11. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Yu Xiujun Faces Trial

Officers from the Guanshanhu District Police Department went to the home of elderly Ms. Yu Xiujun around 8 p.m. on November 15, 2022. They told her that she would be tried in court in two months and she should stay at home under her family’s watch. Ms. Yu was later taken to have a physical exam. She was allowed to go home because of her high blood pressure.

12. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Jia and Ms. Li Yuanying Face Trial

Ms. Li Jia and Ms. Li Yuanying from Qingshan District of Wuhan City were arrested in July 2020 for talking to people about Falun Gong in Lichuan City. They will be tried in Lichuan City on December 1, 2022.
