A plainclothes officer from the Nanjin Road Police Station coaxed 70-year-old Ms. Liu Yuxian into opening the door of her home by pretending to be a home appliance maintenance technician on October 3, 2022. Three people immediately rushed into her home. They rummaged through boxes and cabinets in her rooms and confiscated her exercise music player and photos of the founder of Falun Gong.
Five or six police officers ransacked Mr. Gu Jiancheng’s home in the Sandaoying Village, Dongmao Town, Chicheng County, on September 22, 2022. Mr. Gu was not there, but his mother was at home. They confiscated eight Falun Gong books and tore down two paintings that were displayed on the wall.
Two men in police uniform broke into Ms. Wei Chunlan’s home in Shanhoubancheng Village at 5 p.m. on September 24, 2022, and asked if she still practiced Falun Gong. Ms. Wei clarified the truth to them. During the process, they recording her with their cell phones.
Afterwards, they went to Mr. Cao Jiwei’s home but the door was locked. Then they went to Ms. Meng Qingling’s home. They started recording as soon as they entered the room. They pretended to be concerned about her and said, “If Falun Gong is so good, then just practice at home.”
