(Minghui.org) My 80 year old brother retired at the age of 60. He was a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secretary of a village in Sichuan Province for over 20 years. He was deeply deceived by the CCP’s lies and refused to listen to me when I clarified the truth of Falun Dafa to him.
I went to Beijing to seek justice for Dafa in 2000, and was detained for 15 days. My brother came to visit me, although he had to come from my hometown thousands of miles away. His goal was to persuade me to give up Falun Dafa. Instead, I took this opportunity to clarify the truth to him in more detail, and he finally understood that Falun Dafa is good.
I delivered Dafa amulets, truth-clarification DVDs, and booklets to my brother and other relatives in my hometown in April 2003. They carried the amulets with them every day for 18 years. My brother frequently recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” especially when encountering any danger. With Dafa’s help he avoided dangerous situations many times.
My brother came to visit me in the summer of 2012. His two sons also live near me so we enjoyed our visit. Knowing his past medical history, his daughter-in-laws took him to the hospital to check his blood pressure. The doctor said it was extremely high, and he should be hospitalized. We were all anxious.
The family discussed it and decided to not hospitalize him. I told him, “ Repeat the words ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’. It will help you.” He did it sincerely, and his condition stabilized.
I also gave the book Zhuan Falun to him and said, “This is a heavenly book, read it from beginning to end, and treat it with high respect.” He did everything I told him and finished reading Zhuan Falun in four days.
With his condition stable we let him fly back to his hometown as scheduled. He called us after arriving in Chengdu, and he told us that he was fine. He stayed with a relative for one night, and then returned to his home.
When examined in the hospital in his hometown, his blood pressure had dropped more. I reminded him to frequently repeat the words I taught him. He held great respect for Master (founder and teacher of Falun Dafa) from then on, and asked the same of his children and grandchildren. My brother called me in April 2018 to report that his blood pressure was stable. He called me again in April 2019 and told me his blood pressure was now normal.
My brother went to the barbershop on a bicycle in June 2004. Brake failure caused him to fall while riding downhill. His foot was dislocated. He repeated the words “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” while falling and was able to get up after the fall. He felt no pain.
At the hospital the doctor told him the bone is fractured and he needed to go the orthopedics hospital. The x-ray revealed a comminuted fracture below the ankle of his foot. He had surgery to repair it.
He kept reciting “Falun Dafa is good” during the procedure and was comfortable from his thigh to his toe. The surgery was successful, and he did not feel much pain during his one-month stay at the hospital after surgery. His foot recovered after one year and after two years it was as if the fracture never occurred.
My brother is healthy and does farm work every day although he is in his 80’s. He raised a cow and trained it to plow the land. One day in 2018, he returned home sitting on the cart pulled by the cow. The cow became frightened going downhill and ran wildly, throwing him to the ground. He did not even have a scratch on him and called me saying, “I cannot image what would have happened without Master Li’s protection. I am really grateful to Master !”
The roof of my brother’s house had a leak. While on a ladder to repair it the ladder fell away from under his feet. He grabbed a beam of the house, but he was unable to hang on, and he fell to the ground. The back of his head hit a wooden pole and began to bleed. He went to a medical clinic; there was no need for stitching. An everyday person falling over nine feet and hitting their head would have been seriously hurt. Compassionate Master protected him again.
There were many amazing things like this that happened to my brother. He is grateful for Master’s protection and told me many times, “Master Li is so compassionate, he protects me all the time. I can not find the words to express my gratitude!”
