(Minghui.org) “Could you help my late husband quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)?” asked the widow of a deceased government official who worked in a municipal finance bureau. “He’s dead, but I hope his soul can rest in peace.”
She said this to Ms. Wu, a Falun Gong practitioner who lives outside of China but calls China to inform people of the illegality of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) and urges people to quit the CCP and its youth organizations.
According to Ms. Wu and other practitioners outside of China who make such phone calls, many people are receptive to what they have to say, especially given the ongoing pandemic and other man-made and natural disasters.
Many people are very thankful for the calls. One woman said she was so happy that she might even smile in her dreams. Some people were hesitant initially. But once they realized how the CCP covered up the flooding disaster in Henan Province, they immediately quit the CCP organizations when practitioners called them again.
One woman who talked with Ms. Wu for half an hour about the CCP’s bad deeds said, “I get it now. Could you help me quit the CCP? Thanks!”
When Ms. Wu asked if she could pass on the information to her husband, the woman started to sob. She said her husband had been a talented Party member in a high position in the finance bureau. “But he died at a young age a few years ago. I wish I had heard from you earlier about quitting the CCP,” she said.
“No worries,” said Ms. Wu. “I’m glad to talk about it today. Since you will be blessed after renouncing the CCP organizations, your husband will be happy for you. Since he no longer lives in this world, you can help him quit, too.”
The woman was pleased and thanked Ms. Wu. By breaking away from the CCP, she believes her husband’s soul will rest in peace.
Once Ms. Wu spoke with a woman from the countryside in northern China. The woman was very moved. “I am just an ordinary villager in a remote area, but you have cared about me so much,” she said. “You must be pretty because your voice is so beautiful.”
After hearing the facts about Falun Gong and about the lies and accounts of the brutality of the CCP, the woman said she would quit the CCP without hesitation. She said she was so touched by Ms. Wu’s kindness that she was in tears. “You have told me so many important things that I did not know. I think I am so happy that I will probably smile in my dreams. Now I know why people have always said, ‘Falun Dafa is good.’”
A young man was very quiet when Ms. Wu explained to him that Falun Gong is practiced in over 100 countries and only suppressed in its birthplace of China. She also told him about countless lies the CCP fabricated to defame the practice. The young man then agreed to quit the CCP organizations.
Later on, he sent an audio file three times to Ms. Wu to thank her. In one audio file, he said, “This world needs people like you, working hard consistently without seeking returns. You are the best.”
Another practitioner Ms. Liu called a man who said he was a Christian and had quit the CCP organizations with someone’s help. “I told my son that there are two things that he cannot do: One is drugs and the other is join the CCP.”
Having suffered during the Cultural Revolution, the man said he knew how bad the CCP can be. “I am sorry about the suppression that Falun Gong practitioners are having to endure, because I went through something similar in the past.”
Ms. Liu explained to him that the CCP is worse than drugs. By trying to force Falun Gong practitioners to give up their beliefs, it is ruining the future of society. In addition, the CCP has killed many practitioners with torture and forced organ harvesting, an unprecedented evil in the world, which would bring it to an end. That is why it is important to help Chinese people quit the CCP to secure a safe future for themselves.
The man agreed with what Ms. Liu said.
During the conversation, Ms. Liu learned the man’s son had joined the CCP’s youth organization the Young Pioneers as a child. So she asked if she could call again the following day to help his son quit. The man agreed. The next day, Ms. Liu was able to talk with the man’s son, who was 20, and helped him to renounce the Young Pioneers.
When she told them to keep in mind the phrases “Falun Dafa is good, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” both the father and son agreed to.
Talking with a young man in Heilongjiang Province, Ms. Song answered many of his questions. They spoke for about an hour. The man not only quit the CCP organizations, he also sent a message to Ms. Song afterward.
“In the past, I thought it would be good enough if I could lead a decent life myself. In fact, that is not the case. For example, I do watch the news every day, but I never truly cared about Chinese people who have been deceived or don’t have access to the facts,” he wrote. “It is you who helped me understand what the CCP really is.”
He said he would put in the effort to help people see through the nature of the CCP. “I have to thank you for that. Like an elder sister, you helped me find the purpose of life,” he wrote.
On July 4 this year, Ms. Gan talked with a young man from Henan Province for over half an hour. She explained how the CCP had harmed people in the past and is now persecuting Falun Gong and defaming the practice with lies such as the staged self-immolation incident. When she brought up the topic of quitting the CCP, the young man was hesitant. “I need to think about it. Not today,” he said.
Starting on July 17, Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province, and its surrounding areas were hit with heavy rains for three days in a row. In response to the rising water, the authorities released water from several reservoirs without warning, flooding Zhengzhou and numerous other places. Many people died.
When Ms. Gan called the young man again on July 25, the man said he was clear now. “Thank you for calling me again. I understand what you said now. And I will for sure quit [the Party],” he said as soon as he picked up the phone.
The young man also said he would keep in mind “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” “Thank you so much!” he added.
