1. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Xu Lanyi Arrested and Harassed

Xu Lanyi (gender unknown) from the Chengguan District was reported to the police while distributing Falun Gong informational materials in a residential building in early June 2021. Officers from the New Village Police Station called Xu Lanyi’s daughter. They ordered her to tell Xu Lanyi to go to the police station.

Xu Lanyi went to the police station and was interrogated for about five hours. They then handcuffed and searched Xu. They humiliated Xu by stripping Xu’s clothes off, even the underwear.

Later, Xu was forced to press his or her fingerprints. Xu’s home ransacked, and the Falun Gong informational materials confiscated. Two days later, the officers went to Xu’s home again to pressure him or her to write the three statements, which Xu refused. The officers then threatened the daughter to sign the three statements on Xu’s behalf.

2. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xue Guilan Arrested

On the morning of August 15, 2021, Ms. Xue Guilan was arrested by officers from the Jinzhou City Police Department, when she posted Falun Gong informational stickers. Her home was ransacked afterward. Four days later, two police officers in plainclothes went to Ms. Xue’s home again and forced her husband to sign a guarantee statement on her behalf.

3. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Lianshuang Harassed

On August 17, 2012, five officers from the Yangzhuang Town Police Station in Langfang City went to Ms. Wang Lianshuang’s home. Ms. Wang, in her 70s, was videotaped. The next day, they went to her home again to harass her by knocking on her door in the morning and in the afternoon.

4. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Cen Xuedong and Min Caihua Arrested

On the afternoon of August 20, 2021, officers from the Xisaishan District Police Department and the Baquan Street residential committee broke into Mr. Cen Xuedong’s home and arrested him. The officers claimed they would send him to a brainwashing center. They confiscated all of his Falun Gong books and 30,000 yuan, which had been printed with Falun Gong facts on them. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Min Caihua (gender unknown), 65, lives in Huangshi Harbor District. Min was arrested on June 29, 2021, while distributing Falun Gong information. She was sent to the Yangxin No. 1 Detention Center in Huangshi City and detained for 15 days.

5. [Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Qin Harassed

On the afternoon of August 4, 2021, two officers went to Ms. Sun Qin’s hometown in Zhaodong City, as part of the “zero-out” campaign.

On the afternoon of August 11, Ms. Sun was harassed over the phone.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Hongyan Arrested

On August 18, 2021, Ms. Li Hongyan was arrested at her rented home on Guilin Road. She was taken to the Weizigou Detention Center and detained there for ten days.

7. [Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Three Practitioners Detained

On July 19, 2021, Ren Yulin, Cui Dongmei, and Li Changxing were arrested. Cui Dongmei and Li Changxing are still being held in the Xilin Detention Center. Ren Yulin was released on bail.

8. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Cai Xiuhua and Son Mr. Wang Jianshu Arrested

Ms. Cai Xiuhua and her son Mr. Wang Jianshu from the Longhu District were reported to the police when they distributed informational materials about Falun Gong. They were arrested by officers from the Chenghai District Domestic Security Division, and their home was ransacked afterward. Mr. Wang was released after being detained for one day and two nights. Ms. Cai Xiuhua’s whereabouts remain unknown at this time.

9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Yumei Harassed

On May 11, 2021, the head of the Changle Police Station in Pingdu City went to Ms. Xu Yumei’s home and harassed her. As soon as they entered her home, they began taking photos with their cell phones. They threatened her and said that practicing Falun Gong would affect her children and grandchildren’s future.

On May 12, they returned to Ms. Xu’s home, and took photos and videotaped her.

10. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. He Haiyan and Ms. He Lefeng Harassed

In August 2021, Ms. He Haiyan’s father, who lives in Rucheng County, was seriously ill, so Ms. He went home to take care of him. She was harassed several times as part of the CCP’s “zero-out” campaign. The officers pressured her to give up her faith in Falun Gong and threatened that her practicing Falun Gong would affect her family members’ college admission and future.

In early August 2011, Ms. He Lefeng, from Yongxing County, was harassed by some personnel from her workplace. They demanded that Ms. He cooperate with the “zero out” campaign and give up practicing Dafa.

11. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Cases Against Three Practitioners Brought to Court

The cases against Mr. Wang Meiqing, Ms. Deng Yongmei, and Mr. Liu Xin’an, were brought to the Dangyang City Court. They were arrested on April 15, 2021.

12. [Yanbian City, Jilin Province] Mr. Piao Guangxun Missing for Six Months

Mr. Piao Guangxun, 68, was arrested and tortured into disability in the Longmen Police Station in Longjing City when he was distributing informational materials about Falun Gong back in 2004 or so. Mr. Piao has no children or other family members.

In August or September 2020, officers from the Jinxue Police Station in Yanji City broke into Mr. Piao’s home and confiscated his Falun Gong books and photos of Falun Gong’s founder. He was released after being detained for one day.

On February 6, 2021, several officers from the Jinxue Police Station warned him not to go out. No one has heard from Mr. Piao since the end of February, 2021, six months ago.

13. [Wuwei City, Gansu Province] Mr. Li Quan and His Wife Ms. He Xiuying Harassed

In the afternoon of August 18, 2021, more than ten officers from the Shuangcheng Police Station and the provincial division went to Ms. He Xiuying’s store. They ordered her to close the store and talk with them in private. They left in a hurry when Ms. He refused.

At around 8:00 p.m. that day, the same group went to Ms. He’s home and harassed the couple. Mr. Li Quan, Ms. He’s husband, and Ms. He told them how they benefited from Falun Gong.

14. [Lanxi County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qian Guiling and Zhang ChunYan Arrested

On August 23, 2012, Ms. Qian Guiling and Zhang Chunyan (gender unknown) were arrested by Rong Li, a domestic security officer from the Lanxi County Police Department, at a shopping mall in Lanxi County. They were taken to the police department.

15. [Ji’an City, Jilin Province] Ms. Luo Xizhen’s Family Harassed

In mid-July 2021, officers from the Qinghe County Police Station harassed Ms. Luo Xizhen’s 68-year-old sister, who lives in the Mines Village. They asked her for Ms. Luo’s whereabouts and phone number.

16. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Cui Zhanmei and Mr. Shi Zhonghai Harassed

On August 17, 2021, officers from the Xuanpingbao County Police Station and Jia Aizi, a villager from Xuanpingbao, harassed Ms. Cui Zhanmei at her home, asking her if she still practiced Falun Gong. Ms. Cui said she did.

On August 20, Mr. Shi Zhonghai was harassed at his home. The police officers videotaped Mr. Shi and asked if he still practiced Falun Gong. Mr. Shi said he still practiced but refused to be videotaped.

17. [Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Rongrong Faces Trial

Ms. Yang Rongrong was brought to court at 10:00 a.m. on August 26, 2021, at the Yangchun Court in Yangchun County.

18. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Yao Ailian and Family Harassed

On August 3, 2021, Ms. Yao Ailian was stopped at the entrance of her building by several officers from the Jiayuguan Road Police Station and the Paihonggou Residential Community and asked to go to the community office for a talk.

After arriving at the community office, they pressured Ms. Yao to sign the “Four Statements.” Ms. Yao refused. They then told Ms. Yao’s leaders at her workplace and her son to come to the office. Ms. Yao told her leaders that her son has nothing to do with her practicing Falun Gong.

Ms. Yao was not released until almost midnight. The next day, staff from the Political and Legal Affairs Committee went to her son’s workplace and asked him to sign the statements on his mother’s behalf. He refused.
