(Minghui.org) With the recent coronavirus outbreaks in various regions in China, more communities are imposing vaccine mandates. In my understanding, the plague is caused by society’s loss of faith in Gods and the prevalence of modern science.
Master said,
“Pandemics and plagues are part of a divine plan and inevitable in the course of history. When people become immoral they generate karma, become sick, and experience disastrous things. In such circumstances, people who do not believe in the divine then resort to various “measures” [or “cuo-shi” in Chinese] to try to deal with things. But the fact that “cuo-shi” is a homophone for another term in Chinese, which means “mistaken approach,” is telling. There have been many helpful lessons left to us from history, but they are not taken seriously by Chinese people today owing to their atheistic thinking and their disbelief in the divine—both of which are the product of brainwashing by China’s Communist Party (CCP).” (“Stay Rational”)
Master also said,
“You are not here to change history, but rather, to save people at this most dangerous time in history, by raising awareness, persuading people to withdraw from China’s three major communist organizations, encouraging people to sincerely say the magic words,* and so on. All of these are the best medicine possible, the best way to rescue people...” (“Stay Rational”)
Most employers in China have begun to impose vaccine mandates on their employees. Those who are unvaccinated cannot report to work. For practitioners, it seems we face a choice—get vaccinated or lose our jobs.
Here’s how I see this tricky situation. Master arranges our path so we can clarify the truth and save sentient beings in every work environment, but getting vaccinated is obviously not Master’s arrangement. As we cultivate ourselves, practitioners’ bodies are gradually purified and transformed. From the day we started cultivation Master has been cleaning up our bodies. So it is all the more important for us to believe in Master and the Fa and cherish what Master has done for us.
This illusion of having to choose between our jobs and getting vaccinated is an opportunity for us to tell people the true situation. The miraculous phenomenon of Falun Dafa practitioners’ good health has been studied all over the world. The relevant articles are the best material to help us clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. Telling people how wonderful Falun Dafa is not only validates the Fa but also assists Master with Fa-rectification.
From the perspective of the progress of Fa-rectification, practitioners have been telling people how to keep safe from the plague since the coronavirus outbreak began. At this point if we cooperate with the vaccination mandate, aren’t we going astray? What exactly are we validating by taking vaccine shots?
Nothing is as simple as it seems. If we are not walking on the path Master has arranged, which path are we walking on, and who arranged that path? How to deal with the tribulation of vaccine mandates is also part of our cultivation.
Here are two stories of how some practitioners handled the vaccine mandate. One practitioner is a nurse. She faced high pressure from her employer to get vaccinated. She remembered she had allergic actions to certain drugs when she was a child. She told her manager about this and he stopped pressuring her.
I also experienced the pressure of getting vaccinated from my employer. One day I remembered the phrase, “vaccine exemption for the special population.” So I told my manager that my physical condition exempted me from vaccination. My blood pressure happened to be high that day. He never followed up with me.
I want to remind fellow practitioners that we do not tell lies; otherwise, we may invite sickness karma.
Some people say that it is not good for saving sentient beings if everyone else gets vaccinated, but we remain unvaccinated. My opinion is that if there is any misunderstanding, it results from compromising with the evil element and is driven by an attachment to fear.
There are many similar excuses when practitioners choose to compromise, such as going to the hospital for treatment when facing sickness tribulation for fear of misunderstanding from our family members. Another example is signing statements renouncing Falun Gong during the “Zero-Out” harassment campaign to appease family members.
Some circumstances can be complex, and there are many factors to consider. However, we should walk our path straight no matter how complicated the situation appears. Because only when we walk on the right track can we walk into the future and save the beings we’re responsible for. How can we assist Master in saving people if we do not cultivate ourselves well?
