(Minghui.org) I was forced to leave my home and stay away after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to persecute Falun Dafa in July 1999. My pension was suspended. My fellow practitioners suggested that I clarify the truth to the responsible 610 Office agents, and request that they reinstate my pension.

I prepared and mailed about 100 letters to the 610 Office, and other related agencies, asking them to treat practitioners kindly, so as to have a good future for themselves.

I wrote a separate letter to the 610 Office director, describing two incidences in a nearby city where government officials persecuted practitioners and then received retribution.

I returned to my hometown and delivered the letter to the director in person. He did not read it at the time, but I talked with him face to face. With Master’s help, it went very well. He, his wife, and their two guests quit the CCP and its youth organizations. He even helped his daughter, who was not home at the time, quit the CCP, saying he would tell her later.

He was soon succeeded by a new director, and I found an opportunity to talk to him too. It happened that his mother had been a colleague of mine. So I began by talking about his mother. I then talked about Falun Dafa, telling him how good it was. He listened politely.

I returned home and wrote a letter to him. He soon notified me to complete a process to renew my pension and get my backpay. When I got there, the former director and the domestic security captain were also there. They said they would give me the pension if I signed their paper, but I refused to sign.

They asked me to excuse them for a minute, so they could discus the matter. They then asked my son to persuade me to sign. I did not budge. They asked to be excused again. Then they said I did not need to sign anything for them, all I needed to do was to go to the social security division to complete the necessary paperwork. My pension was reinstated, and I received two years of backpay.

Soon after, that second director of the 610 Office got sick and stopped working, and the domestic security captain succeeded him. Another practitioner talked to him and clarified the truth about Dafa to him. He was positive about Dafa, and quit the CCP and its organizations.

Another practitioner and I took some Dafa informational materials to his home one day to talk to him further. He told us that he had not arrested or persecuted any practitioners since he had become the director. Indeed he had been protecting practitioners.

I once encountered him when he was walking out of a restaurant. I told him to recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” more often. He yelled, “Falun Dafa is good,” three times.
