1. [Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Tang Yuling Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Tang Yuling was sentenced to two years and six months in prison by the Tinghu District Court in December 2020. She appealed to the Yancheng City Intermediate Court. The Intermediate Court instead extended the original judgment for six months, and Ms.Tang was sentenced to three years in prison.

2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Jiang Zengchao Sentenced to Five Years in Prison

Mr. Jiang Zengchao from the Ranghulu District was sentenced to five years in prison in early February 2021. He is being held in the Daqing City Detention Center.

3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Qifen Taken to Prison

Ms. Liu Qifen, 72, was held in the Weifang City Detention Center for one year and seven months before being transferred to the Jinan Women’s Prison in mid-March 2021.

It was reported that she is appealing her case.

4. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Qiu Aifang Missing for Five Years

Ms. Qiu Aifang, about 40, disappeared five years ago. Her husband was doing odd jobs in the No. 709 Institute in Wuchang District. Ms. Qiu and her husband lived in the family quarters of the institute. Before she disappeared, she mentioned to other Falun Gong practitioners that someone followed her to the family quarters. Soon after, Ms. Qiu disappeared. Her family searched for her, but to no avail.

5. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Meng Daole (76 years old), Ms. Xiang Deyu (83 years old), Ms. Wu and Ms. Liu (81 years old), were reported by two plainclothes officers, and arrested by officers from the Kaixuan Road Police Station in mid-April 2021. All four practitioners’ homes were ransacked.

6. [Chongqing] Ms. Xu Xiaoqin Arrested

Ms. Xu Xiaoqin from Yongchuan District was arrested on April 21, 2021. Her home was ransacked and a computer was confiscated.

7. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Fengju Taken to Prison

Ms. Ma Fengju was taken to the No. 2 Ward of the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison in the Masanjia area at the end of March 2021.

Ms. Ma and Ms. Liu Yuying were arrested by officers from the Henan Town Police Station on September 25, 2019. They were tried by the Wanghua District Court on September 6, 2020. Ms. Ma was sentenced to two years and six months in prison. Ms. Liu was sentenced to two years in prison and is still being held in the Fushun City Detention Center.

8. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Chen Dongmei Arrested

Ms. Chen Dongmei from the Tangyuan Farm was arrested by officers from the Railway Police Station at the Harbin City Strain Station on April 21, 2021.

9. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Xu Jinwen Arrested; Wife Ms. Xu Guixiang Displaced

On April 21, 2021, over 20 people from the Yongchang County Police Department, the Zhuwangpu Town Police Station, and the Justice Agency took the opportunity that Mr. Xu Junwen was at work, his wife Ms. Xu Guixiang was picking up their grandson from school, and pried open their door while no one was at home. They confiscated a computer and a printer.

Later, these people waited on the route Mr. Xu usually takes home and arrested him. Mr. Xu’s current whereabouts are unknown.

On her way home after picking up her grandson from school, Ms. Xu learned her home was ransacked. She was forced to go somewhere else. Her 80-year-old father and his great-grandson under 10 were the only ones left at home.

10. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Du Baoqin Arrested

Ms. Du Baoqin from Laiyuan County was arrested by four officers from the Laiyuan Town Police Station on the morning of April 22, 2021, for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was released an hour later.

11. [Shanghai] Mr. Luo Wei Officially Arrested

Elderly Mr. Luo Wei is from Xuhui District. Officers from the Putuo District State Security Division pretended to deliver something on March 1, 2021. When Mr. Luo opened the door, they arrested him for distributing Falun Gong materials. He has been officially placed under arrest and is currently being held in the Putuo District Detention Center.

12. [Shaodong City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zeng Zhiyuan Held in Prison

Mr. Zeng Zhiyuan from Niushan Village, Shuidongjiang Town, is being held in the No. 2 Sub-ward, No. 10 Ward, Wangling Prison, in You County, Zhuzhou City.

13. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Guangli Arrested

Ms. Wang Guangli from Zhanhe District was arrested by eight officers from the Weidong Police Department. They waited outside her home when she headed to work on the morning of April 22, 2021. Her home was ransacked. It is not known where she is held.

14. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Cheng Feng’s Pension Suspended

Mr. Cheng Feng, 74, was notified by the Jinhua Railway Station Retirement Administration Committee in August 2020 that his pension would be deducted because he was sentenced to three years in prison in March 2013. The deduction would start from September 2020. Pensions of five Falun Gong practitioners in Jinhua City were deducted.

15. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Several Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center

On April 21, 2021, the Pengzhou City Political and Legal Affairs Committee instructed 610 Office members of various townships and towns, officers of all local police stations, and staffers of various community management offices to harass Falun Gong practitioners on a large scale. They took several Falun Gong practitioners to the Pengzhou Care Center, a brainwashing center located in the former Pengzhou City 610 Office.

It was reported that more than twelve practitioners were harassed including Xiong Huiyi, Wang Ershi, He Chengzhuo, Zhang Lumei, Chen Baniang, Gu Zhucui, Lei Qimei, and Lei Zhifeng. All practitioners were released that day.

16. [Beijing] Zhang Chen Arrested; Several Practitioners Harassed

Zhang Chen (gender unknown) was arrested at home on April 19, 2021.

17. [Tianjin] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Guo Shujuan and four other practitioners from the Baodi District were arrested by the Baodi District police on April 21, 2021.

In addition, the police recently went door to door to harass practitioners.

18. [Chongqing] Ms. Chen Anbi Arrested

Ms. Chen Anbi from the Tongliang District was arrested by the police while distributing Falun Gong materials on April 22, 2021. Her whereabouts are unknown.

19. [Gangu County, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhang Caiqin Harassed

Officers from the Chengguan Police Station brought some sheets and pressured Ms. Zhang Caiqin to fingerprint them on April 13, 2021.

Three officers opened the door of Ms. Zhang’s home at 11 a.m. on April 15. One officer called in seven armed officers to ransack her home.

Ms. Zhang was previously arrested for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was sentenced to six years in prison and sentenced to forced labor for one year.

20. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Changhua Arrested

The director and two officers from the Matuodian Police Station, led by Party secretary of Qianmatuodian Village, went to Ms. Zhao Changhua’s home on April 13, 2021.

After they entered her house, one officer asked her if she was still practiced Falun Gong. Two other officers asked her to open the door of the room on the west side. They threatened that if she did not open it, they would kick it open.

After Ms. Zhang opened the door, they started ransacking the room and confiscated over 40 Falun Dafa books, a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, a computer, and two printers.

Then the officers took Ms. Zhang to the police station and forcibly took her voiceprints, fingerprints, footprints, blood samples, and a retinal scan of her eyes.

They forced her to sign and fingerprint paperwork. They threatened that if she did not sign, they would implicate her son by ordering him to come back from the town where he worked, and force his work unit to fire him.

21. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Yanyun, Ms. Zhao Airong, and a practitioner nicknamed Hong from Lijin County were arrested on April 21, 2021. Their families went to the police station for inquiry, but the officers refused to let them meet with the practitioners.

22. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhu Guiying Arrested; Ms. Feng Qingdong Harassed

Ms. Zhu Guiying’s home was ransacked on April 19, 2021. Her Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong and her cell phone were confiscated. The printer used by her son for work was also confiscated. She was taken into custody but has returned home.

Two people knocked on the door at Ms. Feng Qingdong’s home on April 20. They tried to videotape her, but she refused.

23. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Yumei Faces Trial

Ms. Xu Yumei will be tried on April 25, 2021.

24. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Public security staff member Wang Qingsuo from Dongmatou Village in Touzhuang Township led two township officials to the homes of Ms. Li Shuying, Ms. Sun Liying, Ms. Gao Suying, and Wang Gaiqiang (gender unknown) on April 9, 2021. They forcibly took photographed the practitioners and asked for their cell phone numbers as well as the phone numbers of their families.

25. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Ye and Husband Mr. Hou Xicai Arrested

Ms. Wang Ye and her husband Mr. Hou Xicai, who came to work in Harbin City from Mudanjiang City, were arrested at home in Harbin City on April 19, 2021. The police confiscated Falun Dafa books and some equipment.

26. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xiuling and Other Practitioners Held in Detention Center

Five officers from the Lijin County broke into Ms. Li Xiuling’s home on April 21, 2021, ransacked the place and confiscated Falun Dafa books, printed materials, a cell phone, and a computer. They forced her to sign the search warrant and arrested her.

Ms. Li and several other practitioners in the county were taken to the Dongying Detention Center on April 22. On April 23, Ms. Li’s family received a notice that she was placed under criminal detention. The practitioners are being held in the detention center.

27. [Fuyu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Hui Harassed

Yu Jing from the Dalinzi Town Political and Legal Affairs Committee, Party secretary Ren Xibo of Jieji Village, and others went to Ms. Xu Hui’s home on April 19, 2021. They wanted to take pictures of her and demanded that she write guarantee statements to give up Falun Gong. Ms. Xu refused to cooperate with them.

28. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Officers from the Dafangshen Police Station went to the homes of practitioners Wang Yunhui (gender unknown), Mr. Wang Zhonghua, and Mr. Li Decheng around 4 o’clock in the afternoon on April 19, 2021. They pressured the practitioners to sign statements renouncing Falun Gong.

29. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ten Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Xi Daoying (65 years old), Ms. Zhang Zhengbi (70 years old), Ms. Chen Rong (65 years old), Mr. Wang Qijun (over 70 years old), Ms. Hou Suhua (over 70 years old), Ms. Zhang Suzhen (70 years old), Ms. Peng Guanghua (over 70 years old), Ms. He Zaibi (over 70 years old), Ms. Yang Rong and Ms. Wang Biying (71 years old) were arrested and taken to the Jiahe Police Station by plainclothes officers on the morning of March 18, 2021.

More than twelve officers, including He Nianlong from the Domestic Security Division of Economic Development Zone, took the keys collected from the practitioners and ransacked their homes. They confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Dafa books, several audio players, and printers. They took 1,900 yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong facts printed on them from Ms. Xi Daoying’s home, and over 4,000 yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong facts from Ms. Chen Rong’s home.

It was reported that Ms. Xi Daoying, Ms. Zhang Zhengbi, and Ms. Zhang Suzhen were taken to the Yongxing Detention Center for 14 days of detention. They returned home on the morning of April 1.

The remaining seven practitioners returned home at 7 p.m. on March 18, the day they were arrested.

30. [Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Elderly Ms. Qian Genmei, Ms. Chen Jin’e, and Ms. Wang Baolan were arrested on the evening of April 8, 2021. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated a large number of Dafa books, printed materials, as well as equipment from Ms. Qian’s home.

Ms. Chen and Ms. Wang returned home that evening. Ms. Qian is still being held in the Xinyu Detention Center.

The Xinyu police, Political and Legal Affairs Committee personnel and community management office personnel recently harassed many Falun Gong practitioners and pressured them to write the three statements.

31. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Jinhua’s Home Ransacked

Four plainclothes officers from the Weifang City Police Department went to Ms. Wang Jinhua’s home on April 20, 2021.

They showed her a search warrant and started ransacking the place. They confiscated over 140 Falun Dafa books, over 300 USB drives, over 50 brochures, over 1,000 keepsakes, over 100 stickers, two audio players, and over 300 yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong facts printed on them.

After ransacking her home, the officers took out two sheets of paper and told Ms. Wang to sign them, but she refused.

32. [Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Gao Guifeng Arrested

Ms. Gao Guifeng was followed and arrested for posting Falun Gong materials in early March 2021. Her home was ransacked. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

33. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Starting from April 12, 2021, two officers from the Jitai Town Police Station went to the homes of numerous Falun Gong practitioners and harassed them for several days, asking whether they still practiced Falun Gong.

Practitioners who have been harassed include: Ms. Lu Guifen, Ms. Zhou Xiuling, Lin, Ms. Ji Huiying, Ms. Li Ailing, Ms. Zhang Yuexiang, Mr. Meng Xiangming, Ms. Sun Guifang, Mr. Yin Qingyun and Ms. Yin Jingmei.

34. [Yangquan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wei Xiuzhen Harassed

Officers from the Guanshan Town Police Station, Pingding County, went to Ms. Wei Xiuzhen’s home on April 22, 2021. The video recorded her and asked for her phone number.

35. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Bolin Arrested

Ms. Li Bolin, 54, from Yitong County, was arrested downstairs at her apartment building by police officers who were staked out there when she was heading out to work at around 5 a.m. on April 14, 2021. She was released three days later.

36. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Jing Officially Arrested

Ms. Yang Jing gave a U-disk to a woman on a bus on March 3, 2021, and was reported to the police by the woman. Domestic security officers tracked down her home by examining surveillance camera footage. They also called her landlord to the police station.

The officers ransacked Ms. Yang’s home on March 12. Ms. Yang was taken to the Chengdu City Detention Center the following day. She was officially placed under arrest on April 19.

37. [Suifenhe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Huang Kexia Detained

Ms. Huang Kexia was arrested and taken to the Suifenhe City Police Department for interrogation on December 18, 2020, for producing Falun Gong materials. She was later released.

On April 21, 2021, Ms. Huang was arrested at home by six police officers. She was forcibly taken to the Suifenhe No. 1 Hospital, where she was given a nucleic acid test. Ms. Huang was then taken to the town police station. The police said that she would be detained for half a month, and she had to wait at home and come to the police station whenever asked. Thirty minutes later she was released.

Ms. Huang was arrested on the afternoon of April 22. It was reported that she would be detained of 15 days.

38. [Huai’an City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Zhang Xiaoming Harassed

Three people including Xu Feng (Party secretary of Sanmen Community Committee) and Wei Xianyu (a residential police officer and deputy Party secretary of the committee) in Changdong Sub-district, Qingjiangpu District, went to Mr. Zhang Xiaoming’s home at 6 p.m. on April 20, 2021.

They took out some printed sheets and pressured Mr. Zhang to sign them. They also threatened to implicate his child and said how his child’s future would be affected if he did not sign.

39. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Geng Lijuan Harassed

Two officers from the Chang’an Road Police Station led by Hujiazuo Village officials went to Ms. Geng Lijuan’s home on April 21, 2021. They pressured her to fill out a form, but she refused.

40. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Min Harassed

Li Gang, director of the Huangjiaci Community Management Office, and others in the High-tech Zone went to Ms. Yang Min’s home on the morning of April 20, 2021.

Ms. Yang’s husband was at home. They asked him to tell Ms. Yang to go to the community office in the afternoon, and they also asked for her phone number.

At noon, Director Li called Ms. Yang twice and told her to go to the community office in the afternoon. After Ms. Yang went there, two staff members started to take pictures of her with their cell phones, but she stopped them.

Finally, they said that because Ms. Yang practiced Falun Gong, she had to go to the community office every one or two months. She told them, “You are violating the law by doing this.”
