(Minghui.org) A piece of land I own is close to 0.2 acres and surrounded by privately owned factories. Since last October, this property has become a garbage dump, full of factory scraps and organic garbage. Most of the garbage was covered with engine oil, which made it very difficult to clean up.

My wife and I are Falun Dafa practitioners. Our neighbors and passersby suggested how we should punish those who have been dumping garbage on the property. However, because we are practitioners, we didn’t take what they said to heart. Whenever someone dumped garbage on our property, we cleaned it up when we had time.

Today was the third time we cleaned garbage off our property, and it took us half the day. Thinking about it again, we realized something didn’t seem quite right: This wasn’t the place to dump garbage, and people shouldn’t cause trouble like this for practitioners, because time is so precious for us. Then a passerby informed me which factory did it. I wanted to go there to speak to them about it, and take this opportunity to clarify the facts to people working there.

As soon as I went into the factory, I saw a vehicle with “environmental law enforcement” printed on it. I asked an employee where the company president is. I was informed that he was in his office. So I went to see him.

The office door was open, and there were a few people inside. When I knocked on the door, everyone in the office turned around to look at me. One person asked, “Who are you looking for?” I didn’t answer, but asked, “Is the president here?” The president replied yes.

Then he asked me, “What’s up?” I asked, “What do you make in your factory?” From what he told me, I confirmed that the garbage was from his factory. I asked him not to dump garbage on my property anymore, as garbage should be taken to a garbage pit. Even though the pit is a bit farther, they shouldn’t cause trouble for others, and it isn’t good for them either.

After I finished saying that, one person who works for the “environmental law enforcement” said, “Please quickly call ‘12369’ to report this. We’ll go to your field to investigate who is responsible. Once we find out, we’ll fine them. If you make this call, you’ll be rewarded with 5,000 yuan.”

At that time, the president also wanted to give me some money. I spoke firmly to him, “I practice Falun Dafa; I am not here to seek money. My Master taught me no matter how much harm has been done to me, I shouldn’t have evil thoughts or harm others. No matter what the conflict is, we’ll use kindness to resolve it.”

Right then, an “environmental law enforcement” officer said, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful! Look at the mindset of this practitioner, we should all learn from him.”

Then, I took this opportunity to ask them to remember, “Falun Dafa is wonderful!” Before leaving, the president gave me his name and asked me to come see him whenever I needed help.
