(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held a group practice and car tour on April 17 to mark the 22nd anniversary of the April 25, 1999 Appeal.

They enjoyed nice weather with lots of sunshine. Many tourists watched the practitioners’ exercise demonstration. Some inquired about the practice.

Falun Gong practitioners arranged a group exercise demonstration, and told tourists about the practice at Midway Pier.

A woman recorded practitioners’ explanations to her questions on a mobile phone. The practitioner told her that Falun Dafa teaches people to be good, but the former leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners out of jealousy.

The practitioner also showed her the display boards. This woman recorded everything on her mobile phone, including taking pictures of the boards, while translating the practitioner’s words into Spanish.

Then she explained to the practitioner that she had three YouTube channels, hoped to take photos of the banners, and put them on her YouTube channels. She wanted to have viewers watching her channels to learn about Falun Dafa and the CCP’s brutal persecution.

After seeing the banners, a man walked over to the practitioners and said, “I know the CCP is evil, and unfortunately the CCP has infiltrated the United States. Are you not afraid of being attacked while doing this?”

A practitioner told him, “Many countries around the world are allowing the CCP to do whatever it wants. The CCP has persecuted Falun Gong practitioners for 22 years and infiltrated Western countries.”

“But what the CCP fears most is the awakening of the people. Falun Gong practitioners are clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in every corner of the world, so more people understand the nature of the CCP.” Finally the man agreed and said he hoped that the practitioners can continue their efforts.

A young man passing by asked a Falun Gong practitioner, “Isn’t communism good for everyone, as it divides everything among the people.”

The practitioner talked about the CCP’s persecution of the Chinese people. Communism is under the banner of equality for all, but does things that are unconscionable, does not hesitate to persecute people, and tramples on human rights. After hearing the facts, the young man shook hands with the practitioner and signed the petition to show his support.

After the group practice, some Falun Gong practitioners participated in a car tour in downtown San Diego. They placed banners which read, “Falun Dafa is Good,” and “Stay away from the CCP, Stay away from the Plague” on the roofs of their cars. When pedestrians on the roadside saw the vehicles, they stopped to watch. Also, the drivers in surrounding vehicles sounded their horns to show their support.
