(Minghui.org) Greetings, Master! Greetings, fellow practitioners!
I started to practice Falun Dafa in 1998. I was born in China and moved to Hong Kong with my mother after graduating from high school. I now teach at a Christian school.
I had heart disease and ulcers. One of my husband’s friends recommended Falun Dafa to me. I read Zhuan Falun and began going to a local exercise site. A few days later, my symptoms all disappeared.
One day as I did the exercises, I suddenly felt many thin, tiny needles poking into my body. Instead of hurting, it felt very comfortable. I didn’t understand what was happening, so I asked a veteran practitioner. She told me that Master was purifying my body.
Since more and more people wanted to learn the exercises, the practitioner in charge of the exercise site suggested that I set up an exercise site close to my home. I didn’t know how to be the contact person. “Who should I go to, if I have questions?” I asked her. She told me to keep reading Master’s teachings and the answers were there. So, I set up an exercise site.
Many people from the neighborhood came—at one point more than 100 were there. A local TV station covered our story. Unfortunately, after the persecution was launched in July 1999, the people were deceived by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s propaganda and many stopped coming.
I regularly go to Tsim Sha Tsui, a famous local tourist spot, to clarify the truth and pass out informational materials. One day on the way there I was hit by a motorcycle. My foot was caught under one of the tires. I told myself: “Get up. You need to pass out the materials.” As soon as I had this thought, I was able to pull my foot from under the bike. I got up and forgot to check whether I was injured.
A passerby said, “Don’t leave, an ambulance is coming.” I told her that I must go. She asked me to wait for the ambulance, but I didn’t want to miss a day of passing out materials. After I handed out all the newspapers, I found that I was not injured at all—there was just some grass and dirt on my jacket. I thanked Master for his protection.
Another time while I was meditating, it felt like ice surrounded my heart, causing great pain. I asked Master for help and said, “Master, I cannot endure it anymore. It is so cold.” As soon as I had this thought, it felt like the ice melted. No words can describe my appreciation for Master.
I had surgery to remove cataracts, but my vision is still poor. Nonetheless, I can see that Master is always behind me and protecting me. One day I fell while trying to board a bus, and I passed out. Two ladies were holding me when I woke up. They asked if I needed to go to the hospital. I said I was fine. I went to the tourist spot as planned, and clarified the truth.
For a long time the members of HKYCA (Hong Kong Youth Care Association Limited, a branch of the CCP’s 610 Office formed to persecute Falun Dafa) often harassed practitioners at the tourist site. Sometimes they even physically attacked them. One day, a member of HKYCA began photographing me. He got so close that his camera almost touched my face. I didn’t say anything. I tried to ignore them and walked away. One of them sarcastically said, “Can't you look at us?” I continued to ignore them.
Other times, they used carts to block our booths. I knew that they were trying to force us to move their carts, so that they would have an excuse to fight with us. I told myself not to fall into their trap. One day, I was the only practitioner at the site. A member of HKYCA shouted: “You are alone? Good! I’m going to get a big pair of scissors and cut up all your stuff.” I ignored him, and he never came back.
Another time, a HKYCA head told two members to approach me. I asked Master to stop them. They didn’t come near me, even though the head pushed them repeatedly.
I can feel that Master is always protecting us. I’ve experienced many miracles in my cultivation journey. I would not be able to pass the tests, if not for Master’s guidance and protection. I deeply thank Master for everything he has done for me.
Thank you, Master! Thank you, fellow practitioners.
