(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Ma Haiyun Facing Trial

Ms. Ma Haiyun, former employee of the Eighth Research Institute of the Ministry of Electronics Industry, from Tianjiaan District, will be tried by the Tianjiaan Court on the morning of March 18, 2021.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ma Yan Facing Trial

Ma Yan (gender unknown) from Lushunkou District, will be tried at the No. 3 Court of the Ganjingzi Court at 1:00 p.m. on March 26, 2021. Ma’s case was brought to the Ganjingzi Court by the Ganjingzi Procuratorate on March 1.

3. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ren Xiulan Taken to Prison

Ms. Ren Xiulan from Bayuquan District was taken to the No. 2 Ward in Shenyang Women’s Prison on March 5, 2021.

4. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Dong Da’e Held in Detention Center

Ms. Dong Da’e from Dongxihu District was arrested on the morning of November 4, 2020. She is being held in Room 102, No. 1 Ward, Wuhan City No. 1 Detention Center.

5. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yang Rongsen Harassed

Mr. Yang Rongsen is a petroleum engineer from the Sinopec Southwest Bureau. Officers from the Chengqu Police Station came to pound on Mr. Yang’s door several times on March 16, 2021. They claimed that because he was on bail he had to cooperate with their investigation at any time. Mr. Yang did not open the door. To force him to open the door, the officers shut off the natural gas supply to his home. He was unable to boil water or cook meals.

6. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yan Xiuhong Arrested

Mr. Yan Xiuhong from Guangzong County was arrested on October 29, 2020. He was officially placed under arrest by the Procuratorate on November 12. His case was brought to the court on December 24.

Except for one meeting between Mr. Yan and his lawyer within a week of his arrest, his family and lawyer have not been allowed to meet with him. Four months has passed as of March 16, 2021, and the detention center is using excuses including communication system breakdown and other excuses to prevent them from meeting with him. His family is not sure whether he is still being held in the detention center.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiang Changqing Arrested

Ms. Xiang Changqing from Qingshan District was arrested on the street on the morning of March 15, 2021.

8. [Gong’an County, Hubei Province] Mr. Dai Hong Arrested

Mr. Dai Hong from Jiazhuyuan Town was arrested by several police officers on March 16, 2021. The officers confiscated his motorcycle and laptop computer.

9. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ai Jinxia Tried

Ms. Ai Jinxia from Changling County was tried on March 15, 2021. The court did not allow her family to attend the trial, or others to defend her.

10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Lin Maocheng Tried Again

Mr. Lin Maocheng is being held in the Daheishan Detention Center in the Development Zone. He has developed heart problems as a result of the ongoing abuse. He was tried in February 2021, which was suspended due to insufficient evidence. A second trial was held last week.

11. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Caifan’s Pension Suspended

Ms. Liu Caifan is from Qingshan District. Her monthly pension was 3271.69 yuan. In November 2020, her pension for the entire month was deducted, and in December 2020 and January 2021, she was only paid 996 yuan per month.

She called the Labor Insurance Section of the Qingshan Social Insurance Division of the Wuhan Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on January 19, 2021. The official who took the call told her that the pension she received after she was taken into custody in 2008 had to be deducted. Ms. Liu spent over three years in prison back then for talking to people about Falun Gong. The official asked her for a release certificate and pressured her to sign an agreement, which Ms. Liu refused. The official said that if she did not sign the agreement, her pension would be permanently deducted. The official wrote down her phone number and her address in Shanghai, but Ms. Liu has not yet received any paperwork from them.

12. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hong Guimei Displaced

Two police assistants, led by officer Yang Wufeng (about 40 years old), from the Qinghuayuan Police Station, Dongxihu District, went to Ms. Hong Guimei’s home and attempted to arrest her. She was not at home, but they threatened her family members. They went to her home again to harass her on March 3 and March 7, 2021. She has now become displaced.

13. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Chen Yinhua Arrested

Ms. Chen Yinhua was arrested at work by officers from the Qixia Police Station on the morning of March 12, 2021. She has returned home.

14. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Lijie Stopped and Searched

Mr. Sun Lijie was heading out of town on business on March 11, 2021. He was stopped by officers from the Shenyang North Station Police Station before boarding the train. The officers checked his cell phone and found electronic copies of Dafa books. They questioned him and asked if he was a Falun Gong practitioner. They then asked for his address and contact number.

15. [Zhangjiakiu City, Hebei Province] Mr. Huang Zhengui Arrested

Mr. Huang Zhengui from Xiwanzi Town, Chongli District, was arrested by officers from the Chongli District Domestic Security Division while distributing Falun Gong materials in the Qingxiuyuan Residential Community on March 13, 2021. The officers confiscated Falun Dafa materials. They subsequently ransacked his home and confiscated a copy of the book Zhuan Falun, two cell phones, other Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and several copies of Minghui Weekly.

Mr. Huang was taken to the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center on March 14 for 15 days of detention.
