(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. I was detained three times during my twenty years of cultivation. My xinxing improved and I gained a better understanding of the Fa, and have recently completely denied the old forces’ arrangements with righteous thoughts. Below are a few examples I witnessed of the mercy of our Master, the effect of righteous thoughts, and the mighty power of Dafa.
Falun Dafa practitioners have filed lawsuits since 2015 against Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese Communist Party leader who launched the persecution of Falun Dafa. I sued Jiang using my real name. After my letter was returned to our county, police officers and government agents in our town came to my home to harass me. They wanted to persecute me, but I refused to meet with them.
A few police officers came to my house one day in the fall of 2017, but I wasn’t at home. My husband called me and said the police wanted to ask me a few questions. I was taking a training course for house service, so I said I couldn’t return home.
The house service training center was near the police station. The police officers spotted me when they returned to the police station from my home, and three of them surrounded me. One stood in front of the door and blocked my way. I realized that I couldn’t leave.
A police officer came up to me and asked if I was still practicing Falun Dafa. I thought, “I am a Dafa disciple in the Fa-rectification period. There is nothing wrong with practicing Falun Dafa.” So I answered, “Yes.”
The police officer laughed and raised his voice, “Tell me the truth. Are you still practicing Falun Dafa?” “Yes, I am!” I said. Then I took my cell phone out of my bag and took a picture of him.
He was scared and cried out, “You can’t spread it online. Delete it immediately.” I didn’t listen, and put my cell phone back into a bag.
I warned him, “If I am fine, you should be fine.” What I said shocked him, and his bravado disappeared. He was speechless. They all left immediately.
When I looked at their backs as they left, I was thinking about what Master said,
“If thoughts are righteous,evil will collapse”(What’s to Fear? Hong Yin Vol. II)
I understand that we are protected by Master, and as long as we have righteous thoughts and are doing the right thing, the evil can’t achieve their goals.
I went to my mother’s home with my sister and her son one summer day in 2017. On our way back, we saw that the road ahead was wet. I didn’t pay much attention to it and rode on. However, my bike slid forward, and I fell hard to the ground, while the bike continued sliding for about six feet. My hands and body were covered with sticky oil, and I felt a lot of pain at the back of my head and my back bone. I felt very dizzy. I looked at the ground and saw that it wasn't water, but gut oil.
My sister and nephew were coming towards me to give me a hand. I told them to stay there. As a practitioner, I thought, “I am a disciple of Master Li, and nothing can affect me. Any attempt to persecute me is a crime.” Although I felt pain all over, and my back was stiff, I struggled to stand up.
I saw a young woman riding an electric bike with two children. I shouted to them to stop. However, it was too late, and they all fell. The two children cried loudly. My sister, nephew, and I helped them.
I wanted to place a barricade or something there to block people from driving on the oily road. There were many vehicles and people passing by. We finally were able to push a trash can there to prevent people from entering. I felt relieved when I saw people detouring and moving ahead safely. Soon after, I realized I had forgotten about my pain.
Upon returning home, I saw that my back and hip were badly bruised, and I felt chilly. I then started doing the exercises. After I was done, I felt warm all over, and my pain was relieved. Three days later, I had completely recovered. Thank you, Master for helping me pass another test.
One day in 2018, I was reading on my cell phone, while my child played nearby. I suddenly got a headache and eye pain. I turned off my cell phone, closed my eyes, and sent forth righteous thoughts. I thought about what Master told us,
“Huatuo saw a tumor in Caocao’s brain and wanted to operate on it.” (Lecture Seven, Zhuan Falun)
After this thought, I felt a palm-sized black matter fly away. I then felt clear minded, and there was light in front of me. The uncomfortable feeling disappeared. I realized it was Master’s hint for me to experience the power of sending forth righteous thoughts.
After my mother passed away, I was busy for several days. On the day of her funeral, one side of my body didn’t feel right and one side of my head had a prickling pain. I also felt as if I was carrying heavy goods. I thought I would recover after I rested. However, a few days later, I still had symptoms of a stroke. Food and water dripped out one side of my mouth, and my upper lip didn’t function well...
At that time, I continued to rectify myself based on the Fa and eliminate the interference and persecution from the old forces. I wanted to be on the path that Master arranged for me, instead of being like the person Master mentioned, who had poor enlightenment and developed cerebral thrombosis. That person used human notions to think and act, so he would not feel the supernatural power of Dafa, and thus failed to live up to Master’s merciful salvation.
Master cleansed my body early in my cultivation. It has been many years since I started practicing Falun Dafa, so how could I still develop stroke symptoms? I believed I would be fine.
Although I continued to feel some stroke symptoms, I did whatever I was supposed to. I did the three things every day. I believe in Master and Dafa and believed that I could pass the test. After my xinxing improved a few days later, all the symptoms disappeared. I further witnessed the power of sending forth righteous thoughts and the supernatural power of Dafa.
