1. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Qiu Yufeng Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Qiu Yufeng was sentenced in the first instance. The witness refused to appear in court. Ms. Qiu has appealed to the Haizhou District Intermediate Court.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yu Chunbo Faces Trial

Mr. Yu Chunbo was arrested and detained on November 12, 2020, then taken to the prison hospital on December 13, 2020. He was unable to eat and lost a lot of weight. He only weighed 40 kg (88 pounds). There was no diagnosis. His condition recently improved. He is scheduled to be tried in court next week.

3. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Wan Huimin's Pension Deducted

Ms. Wan Huimin, 72, was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment in 2002 and her pension was suspended during that period. Ms. Wan was sentenced to four years in prison in December 2015. After being released, she received a call from the city social security center in September 2020 informing her that her pension would be deducted starting from September 2020.

4. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zuo Xiuhua Harassed

Ms. Zuo Xiuhua’s husband received a harassment call from the Shuangdong Town Police Station in Jingyang District in December 2020. The police asked whether Ms. Zuo still practiced Falun Gong. Her husband refused to answer and said that he did not know.

5. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Hu Yugen and His Wife Ms. Yang Guifang Harassed Multiple Times

Ms. Hu Yugen, 71, and his wife Ms. Yang Guifang live in Qinglong Town, Pengshan District.

The couple was harassed at home by two officers from the Qinglong Police Station on March 18, 2020. The couple was harassed at home again by five people from the town police station, the town government, and the village office on April 21, 2020. They secretly photographed the couple and deceived them into signing a blank investigation form. The couple was harassed at home again at around 11:00 a.m. on February 1, 2021, by several people from the town police station, and the town and district governments.

6. [Tonghua County, Jilin Province] Ms. Chen Guizhi Arrested

Ms. Chen Guizhi from Kuida Town was arrested by several police officers and taken to the police station on January 28, 2021. Her home was ransacked. Personal belongings including a laptop computer, a printer, a media player, etc. were taken away. She was threatened and told she would be placed in custody for 15 days, but was released later that day. It was reported that the police officers extorted 10,000 yuan from Ms. Chen’s daughter.

7. [Liangshan County, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Pan Xiulan, Ms. Qi Guie, Ms. Chen Qiuxiang, and their family members, have recently received multiple harassment calls from police officers.

8. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qiu Hongbo Harassed

Ms. Qiu Hongbo lives in Xinigou Village, Houjia Town, Wendeng District. She was harassed multiple times by police officers and village officials. They pressured her to sign the guarantee statement, which she refused.

9. [Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Qiang Sentenced to One Year in Prison

Mr. Wang Qiang was sentenced to one year in prison in the Mishan City Court. He has appealed to the Jixi City Intermediate Court. Mr. Wang is currently under residential surveillance due to his health condition.

10. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Teng Xiuying Harassed Multiple Times

Ms. Teng Xiuying’s son received a harassment call from Lin Hao, a Sanshui Town government official, in 2020. Lin Hao ordered Ms. Teng’s son to sign the guarantee statement on behalf of his mother. The son refused to cooperate.

Ms. Teng Xiuying was harassed four times by the mayor of Sanshui Town in August 2020. She was threatened and told her pension would be suspended if she refused to sign the three statements.

Ms. Teng was harassed by Lin Hao in November 2020, who wanted to know whether Ms. Teng went out to distribute truth-clarifying materials.

11. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Wang Shouhao Arrested

Wang Shouhao (gender unknown) was arrested by community guards at around 7:00 p.m. on February 1, 2021, for posting the truth-clarifying stickers. Wang’s home was ransacked. The photo of Falun Gong’s founder and a pendant hanging on the wall were taken away.

12. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yuna Harassed

Ms. Wang Yuna lives in No. 1 Village, Chengshan Town. She was harassed four times by village Party director Li Hui in mid-November 2020. She was pressured to sign the three statements required as part of the “Zero-out” campaign. After she refused to cooperate, her welfare supplements from the village were suspended and she was also fined 700 yuan.

13. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Yanchun and Ms. Yuan Tinglan Harassed

Ms. Yang Yanchun and Ms. Yuan Tinglan were harassed at home by two officers from the Huangjinzhuang Police Station in Qinghe County on January 7, 2021. The police also tried to photograph them.

14. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Guixiang Arrested

Ms. Zhang Guixiang was arrested at around 10:00 a.m. on January 11, 2021, for clarifying the truth at Sanniang Temple Market. She was taken to the Xuanwu Street Police Station for interrogation and released at around 6:00 p.m. that day.

15. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zuo Li Arrested and Detained

Ms. Zuo Li, 34, works in Taian Aerospace Special Vehicle Co. She was arrested at home at around 7:00 a.m. on January 12, 2021. Twelve people from the Taian District Police Department, 610 Office, the Daimiao Police Station and the Yingchun Community, including Li Xiaoming, deputy of the district Domestic Security Division, and Tian Lin from the 610 Office, came to Ms. Zuo Li’s home. They ransacked her home and took away two sets of Dafa books, one computer, two cell phones, a media player, and some truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Zuo was taken to the Daimiao Police Station. Ms. Zuo’s father Mr. Zuo Yongtai was told to sign the list of looted items, which he refused.

Ms. Zuo Li was released on bail on January 20, 2021. Her family was extorted of 2,000 yuan.

16. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Faling Harassed

Ms. Liu Faling, 76, lives in Gengxin Community, Caiyuan Sub-district, Taishan District. She was harassed at home by several officers from the Sanli Police Station after 6:00 a.m. on February 2, 2021. They ransacked her home and took away some USB flash drives, pendants, and some Minghui articles. She was told to sign the list of looted items and was asked where she got them from. She refused to cooperate.

17. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Mr. He Bin and His Wife Ms. Fan Yuzhi Harassed

The daughter of Mr. He Bin and Ms. Fan Yuzhi received a harassment call from Wang Jiao in the Chengguan Community in August 2020. Wang Jiao said that they received a call from the Guanxi Police Station, ordering Mr. He and Ms. Fan to come to the community office and sign a guarantee statement.

18. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Meiying and Ms. Bian Xuemei Persecuted

Ms. Wang Meiying from Hengshan County was arrested at home by Li Pu from the county police department and officers from Guangzhou City on September 7, 2020. She has been detained in the Shawan Detention Center in the Panyu District of Guangzhou City. The case against Ms. Wang was filed with the Haizhu District Procuratorate in November 2020. Her case was transferred to the Haizhu District Court in January 2021.

Ms. Bian Xuemei from Hengshan County was tried in court on the morning of January 29, 2021. The judge threatened Ms. Bian. He told her to plead guilty in court and promise to stop practicing Falun Gong, otherwise he would sentence her to prison. Ms. Bian did not cooperate. The verdict was not announced that day.

19. [Emeishan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Shen Guixiang Arrested and Detained

Ms. Shen Guixiang lives in Tangfang Village, Shuangfu Town, Emeishan City. She was arrested by Jiajiang County police officers on January 22, 2021. Her home was ransacked on January 23, 2021. She is currently being detained in the Jiajiang County Detention Center for 15 days. Her daughter and her son-in-law went to the detention center to bring her some clothing but they were not allowed to meet with her.

20. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Dechun Arrested

Ms. Chen Dechun was arrested at her workplace on January 19, 2021. Huang Shouhong from the Changqing Factory led three police officers including Zhu Bolin to arrest her. Ms. Chen was told that she would be tried in court soon. Ms. Chen was taken to the Pengzhou Chinese Medicine Hospital to have a physical examination. The Shuangliu Detention Center refused to accept her due to her high blood pressure. She was released at 10:00 p.m. that night.
