(Minghui.org) I heard in the spring of 1997 that practicing Falun Dafa cures illnesses and keeps people healthy, so I started practicing Dafa. I read the Fa and practiced the exercises every evening, and all my illnesses disappeared.
Son and Daughter Practice Falun Dafa
My son and daughter have practiced Falun Dafa since childhood. When they were very young, I played Master Li Hongzhi’s Fa lecture recordings for them. My daughter liked to listen and told me Dafa is good. My son started reading the Fa when he grew older.
My son later developed symptoms of sickness, with his body turning stiff. He appeared normal in school, but not at home.
I read the Fa with him and played Master’s Fa -lectures for him. As he kept reading the Fa, my son gradually recovered, Since then he has listened to Master's teaching the moment he gets home from school.
When my children got older, my husband started taking them out to clarify the truth, telling people about Falun Dafa and the persecution. My son was about six or seven and he was a little scared. My daughter was excited; she told us that she saw the materials glowing when handing them to people.
When my son grew up, he became a handsome boy with good character; he always had good grades in school and was a class leader. The teachers liked him very much and trusted him.
Before graduating from junior high, he asked all his classmates to quit the Chinese Youth League and the Young Pioneers. After graduating from college, he found a job that he liked.
My daughter was a resident student since she was in junior high, and she read a lecture of Zhuan Falun every evening. When she was in junior high, a teacher slandered Dafa in a class.
She stood up and stopped the teacher, “Your words are not right!” She then started telling everyone about Falun Dafa and the persecution. The teacher said, “You win! Keep talking!” My daughter kept talking to the class for half the session.
Since then, everyone knew she practiced Falun Dafa. Before taking the high school entrance examination, the teacher told her, “If you keep practicing Falun Dafa, you will not be allowed to take the exam to the key high schools.”
My daughter answered, “If I am not allowed to take the exam, so be it.” Seeing she was so determined, the teacher softened. The teacher said, “I can't convince you. But, you should still talk to your parents, right?” My daughter calmly said, “There is no need, as my parents are Dafa practitioners; they won’t agree with you.”

My daughter was admitted to a high school and after graduating she was admitted to a university. After her college graduation, she got a job she liked and formed a happy family.
Although her husband did not practice Falun Dafa, he was very supportive of her cultivation. He often reminded her to read the Fa and helped with the house chores.
During her pregnancy, my daughter kept listening to Master's Fa lecture recordings. The child was born smart and healthy and my daughter kept playing Master’s Fa lectures for the baby to listen.
When their whole family came back to visit us, if we were studying the Fa, my son-in-law would ask my daughter to join us and he would go to a different room to avoid disturbing us.
My Husband’s Experience
My husband has good inborn quality and he can see Buddhas, Taos and other Gods when reading the Fa. He told me that some of them wore long gowns, some wore various robes, and some sat cross-legged.
On the 19th of the first month in 2006 (Chinese Lunar calendar), my husband told me his hands were not working right. In the evening, we went to a fellow practitioner’s home to do the exercises.
While doing Holding the Wheel in Front of the Lower Abdomen, he suddenly fell. After he got up, I saw that his arms and legs were not functioning well, and he couldn't stand still.
We then went home. My husband told me the next morning that he had a dream. In the dream he saw a double door opened and then he saw a lot of Buddhas, Taos and Gods. He said in the dream, “Master is purifying my body!” He then woke up upon finishing his words.
He told me he found himself sweaty after waking up but felt very relaxed. In the morning, he started walking by supporting himself on the wall, but his arms and legs still did not function right.
He kept reading the Fa, doing the exercises, and sending righteous thoughts all day long; sometimes he did the exercises three or four times a day.
I told my husband, “Please ask Master for strengthening, as you are a practitioner and you should not treat yourself as a sick person!” We shared our thoughts and understood that he was experiencing karma elimination, and there was also old-force interference. We agreed that we should reject the interference.
My husband was unable to hold the wrench at the time. He asked a fellow practitioner to help him and they repaired our family’s machinery.
Since then, my husband learned to repair farming machinery and his physical condition was also getting better every day. Several days later he started doing farm work and four to five months later, he had recovered.
From other practitioners, my husband also learned to repair printers, change the toner cartridges and so on. Once, while on the way to the bus station heading home, he suddenly felt weak and could not walk further.
He had to sit on the curb. He then thought, “This is not right! I am not an ordinary person.” He stood up and kept walking forward. With righteous thoughts he rejected the interference.
My Father and My Sister
My sister was paralyzed one year, and was bedridden. She used to practice Falun Dafa years ago. However, her husband did not allow her to cultivate and so she stopped. Years later she was hospitalized.
I went to visit her and brought her an MP3 player for her to listen to Master’s Fa lectures. This time her husband did not interfere.
Later, her husband took their three-year-old daughter to visit her. The young girl told her, “Mom, please practice Falun Dafa well. I'll stay home and won’t cry.”
The little girl’s words moved the people around her to tears. The doctor told us that my sister had less than 0.1% chance to recover and her family did not have the money to pay for the treatment. My sister gave up treatment and went home. After she got home, I read the Fa with her, and helped her to do the exercises when she could.
In less than four months, she recovered completely! Through this experience, my brother-in-law also came to understand Falun Dafa.
My father did not cultivate diligently, and he later had a stroke and half of his body did not function well. He walked on crutches.
My aunt told him, “Throw your crutches away. Master gave you a treasure but you didn’t use it. What can you do with crutches?”
Hearing these words, my father started reading the Fa, doing the exercises, and sending righteous thoughts diligently. Two months later, he recovered and walked normally without crutches. My father validated Dafa’s extraordinary power with his recovery.
Father-in-law, “I Will Become a Cow or Horse in My Next Life to Repay You”
My father-in-law had four sons. However, he insisted on living with us. My father-in-law didn’t like me and wouldn't let me talk. No matter what, as long as I talked he would disagree.
One time, he suddenly took a rake and hit me from behind. The rake teeth cut two holes in my leg, and the blood flowed down the rake.
I stayed calm and recalled Master’s teaching,
“But normally when a problem arises, if it does not irritate you psychologically, it does not count or is useless and cannot make you improve.” (Lecture Four, Zhuan Falun)
I thought to myself that I probably owed him in my previous lives, and he was claiming his debt. I suffered the injury without saying anything.
Later, my father-in-law became ill, and I took care of him. When he urinated or had a bowel movement, he always asked me to take care of him; he totally relied on me.
He said to me with emotion before he passed away, “Dafa is good! If you did not practice Falun Dafa, you would not be able to take care of me like this! I will pay you back in my next life, even if I have to become a cow or a horse!”
In those years, my family ran a repair shop, and I talked to everyone who came to my shop about Falun Dafa and the persecution. I advised them to quit the CCP and its organizations to awaken their conscience.
When they came into my shop, I asked their names first and then talked to them about Falun Dafa and the persecution. This way, I did not miss anyone who came to my shop, and I could help them quit the CCP.
Master taught us,
“I also want to tell you that your nature in the past was actually based on egotism and selfishness. From now on, whatever you do, you should consider others first, so as to attain the righteous Enlightenment of selflessness and altruism. So from now on, whatever you do or whatever you say, you must consider others—or even future generations—along with Dafa’s eternal stability.” (“No-Omission in Buddha-Nature,” Essentials for Further Advancement)
All the agricultural products I grow are free of pesticides and CPPU (plant growth regulator). When planting seedlings, I always talked to the seedlings to remember “Falun Dafa is good”.
When I sold my produce, my customers often asked me, “Why does your sweet potato taste better than everyone else's?” I told them, “We never apply pesticides to our crops and we never cheat people.” My produce is better than others even though we sell them at the same price as everyone else.
We always sell our produce quickly and this saves a lot of time for me to do the three things.
During the time when there is not much farm work I do temporary jobs. I only look for the jobs that allow me time to read the Fa, otherwise I don't take the work.
My current job is to sweep building corridors. I work fast and thoroughly, and I can read two lectures of Zhuan Falun every day. I also leave Dafa materials to validate Dafa while doing my job.
I had never expected that both of my children could go to college. We supported both our children through college and we saved 400,000 yuan. We also bought a house in the township.
The villagers all wondered about my family and some people asked, “How did you save so much money?”
I told them, “Our family all practices Falun Dafa and Dafa's Master gave us all the money. Think about it, how much money does food cost? How much money can one save if they don't get sick?”
When going through tribulations over the years, I have never let up reading the Fa. I follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and validate Dafa with my words and deeds.
