(Minghui.org) My family and I are Chinese. We are Christians and live in New York City. Several of my family members tested positive for the coronavirus. My mother-in-law is almost 90 years old, and she also became ill. After she was treated and tested negative, the hospital told her to quarantine in our home. Our other family members were all quarantined elsewhere.

We contacted several in-home caregiver companies and asked them to send someone to our home to help take care of my mother-in-law. Only three caregivers were available. The company explained my mother-in-law’s situation to them and asked them to sign a statement saying they would not hold the company accountable if they became ill. Two refused.

When we contacted the third caregiver, she said, “I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. I cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. My teacher tells us to be good people. I will come take care of your mother-in-law.”

So she came to my home and took care of my mother-in-law for several days.

We appreciated her help during this most challenging time for our family. We wanted to give her an additional three hundred dollars as a token of our thanks, but she declined. She told us about Falun Dafa and how it is persecuted in China. Then she explained that millions of Chinese people have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) so they won't be held accountable for its crimes.

Touched by her compassion, all six of us in our family withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. She said many people feel they've been blessed when they say, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

Since she declined the three hundred dollars, we asked her to donate it to the Quit the CCP Service Center in New York to express our appreciation.

We thank the Master of Falun Dafa for having such a wonderful practitioner. Her compassion touched us, and we sincerely appreciate Master Li! We will recite the auspicious phrases and read more about Falun Dafa.
