Kindhearted Police Officer Helps Falun Dafa Practitioners Get Released

Nov. 13, 2021 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Shandong Province, China

(Minghui.org) Two fellow Falun Dafa practitioners and I were arrested by the Domestic Security Division when we were clarifying the truth about a year ago. We were later released on bail with financial help from our families. We recently received calls from the police department, telling us we could go get our refund.

The three of us went to the local police department with a wish to further clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to the police officers. We were taken to the accounting office to get our refund. We spotted some wording on the paperwork that slandered Falun Dafa, so we refused to sign the forms.

We were taken to the police office in our administrative district and were put in a room to wait. It was an interrogation room with an iron chair and handcuffs. A police officer came in and acted ferociously. We realized that we probably had fallen into a trap of further persecution, but we refused to be deterred.

After the first police officer left, another one came in. He asked for my personal information because I was the only one from out of town, but I refused. He told me that my fellow practitioners could leave, but I had to stay because my paperwork couldn’t be completed. He looked like a nice person. I wished to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to him.

The officer took me to his office. After sitting down, I asked him, “Does everyone have to give their information?” He confirmed. I further asked, “What do people usually do to get them here?” “For various reasons, stealing, swindling, fighting, gambling, prostitution, etc.,” he replied.

I said, “All of them were here because they harmed others for their own personal interest and desires, right?” “Of course. Who would be here for the sake of others?” he said. “What do you think about Falun Dafa practitioners? Do you think we are here because of our own personal interest?” I asked. He said, “I don’t think so. All of you talk about saving people.”

Our conversation made him think. He put down his pen and listened to me. I told him how I started practicing Falun Dafa, how Dafa practitioners strive to live by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, why we had spent our money and risked our safety to help people quit the communist organizations, and examples of people being blessed for believing in Falun Dafa. I further told him about Falun Dafa being practiced and supported around the world, and cases of persecutors receiving retribution.

He asked me several questions and I answered them one by one. He said at last, “I believe what you said.” I asked him, “Has any practitioner helped you quit the communist organizations?” He said, “No.” I told him that Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, must have made arrangements for me to help him.

The officer showed me his name badge and told me seriously, “Please remember my name and help me quit the Communist Party.” I said, “Because of your special position, I can help you quit with a nickname. It will still work.” He agreed happily.

He asked, “What can I do to help Falun Dafa? I can’t ask for Falun Dafa’s protection without paying it back.” Tears came to my eyes. I was touched by his great intention. I gave him the following suggestions.

“First, you can tell your family and friends about the significance of quitting the communist organizations and help them quit. Secondly, if your job requires you or your colleagues to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners, you can avoid doing so, or release them. Thirdly, you can do your best to lessen the persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners.”

He said he would definitely tell his family and friends to quit, and do his best on the second and the third items. I asked if he could speak to the officers in the Domestic Security Division about my case. He said that they would not listen to him. I asked if he could talk to his director. He said he could, and that he had a great working relationship with his director. He stood up and told me that he knew what to do.

I saw him enter the director’s office, which faces the interrogation room. They came out together. After a while, the officer passed the place my fellow practitioners and I were in, and winked at me. I knew that he made it. Pretty soon, all of us were released.
