1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Zhendong Persecuted in Prison

Mr. Li Zhendong has been detained in the Dongling Prison for less than one month. His family was informed by the prison that he needed money to get medical treatment. His entire body is swollen, he has abdominal pain, and is unable to eat.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Case Against Mr. Lu Kaili Submitted to the Court

The case against Mr. Lu Kaili was submitted to the Ganjingzi District Court by the Ganjingzi District Procuratorate on September 17, 2021.

Mr. Lu was arrested at home by officers from the Malanzi Police Station in the Shahekou District on June 20, 2021. His home was ransacked. He was officially arrested by procurator Chang Liang from the Shahekou District Procuratorate on July 8, 2021. His case was later transferred to the Ganjingzi District Procuratorate.

Mr. Lu has been imprisoned for total of 13 years. He was sentenced to ten years in prison for participating in tapping into TV networks to broadcast information about Falun Gong. He was tortured in the Panjin Prison and his lower limbs were paralyzed. He is still unable to walk normally and is incontinent. Mr. Lu is currently detained in the Dalian City Detention Center.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Hefang Under Official Arrest

Ms. Wang Hefang is a hospital nurse in Pinggu District. She was arrested at her workplace on August 26, 2021. Her home was ransacked. Her family received a notice on September 30, stating that she had been officially arrested. Ms. Wang has been transferred to the Pinggu Detention Center.

4. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sui Baiqin Arrested and Detained

Ms. Sui Baiqin was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong, and was arrested on the morning of September 18, 2021. She is currently detained in the Liaoyang City Detention Center.

5. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Chen Yujing Arrested and Detained

Ms. Chen Yujing, from the Second Machinery Factory, was arrested at home in late September 2021. She is currently detained in a detention center.

6. [Luohe City, Henan Province] Ms. Huang Chunlan Denied Bail

Ms. Huang Chunlan’s condition deteriorated due to the mistreatment she suffered in the detention center. However, Zhen Jiangong from the Yancheng District Police Department did not allow Ms. Huang to be bailed out for medical treatment.

7. [Xinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Huairong Harassed

Ms. Zhao was detained in prison for one and a half years, and was released in May 2021.

She was harassed at home on September 30, 2021 by people from the Justice Bureau and pressured to sign a guarantee statement promising to give up practicing Falun Gong.
