(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners have been tirelessly raising awareness about the two-decades-long persecution of their faith in China, helping people inside and outside of China to see through the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) slanderous propaganda. A practitioner recently called a member of the Discipline Inspection Commission in Inner Mongolia on New Year’s Day 2021. The practitioner talked to this government official about the persecution of Falun Gong and why the persecution is wrong. After the conversation, the practitioner advised the man to quit the CCP. The man said, “I already quit. I've woken up.”
During the course of their long conversation, the practitioner sent the official an electronic copy of Zhuan Falun, the book of Falun Gong’s main teachings. “This good news that arrived on New Year's Day is the biggest blessing in my life; it allows me to see hope,” the man said.
The government official told the practitioner, “I very much agree with Falun Gong’s teachings. Do you know why? I’ve been to many places in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand to survey and learn as a government official. I saw Falun Gong practitioners everywhere. I felt the kindness of their principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Shouldn’t mankind agree with these universal values? I very much do.
“I once believed the CCP’s slanderous propaganda and had doubts about Falun Gong. I have been circumventing the firewall to visit overseas websites because I know very well the CCP has been lying to its people to stay in power. I have to look for the truth myself,” the man said.
“I think today, January 1, 2021, is the luckiest moment of my life,” he said. “Otherwise you wouldn’t have found me.”
After the practitioner talked about quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations, the man responded, “Not only have I already quit, I know all about the CCP’s evil policies, dictatorship, shamelessness, and anti-humanity rules. The CCP calls Falun Gong a cult. When I carefully looked into the details, I realized that the CCP is the real cult and Falun Gong's teachings are the true salvation of mankind.”
“You have such a clear understanding of the CCP,” the practitioner commented.
“I wasn’t just a CCP member, I did things that I wasn’t supposed to while in its system. I was trapped in the CCP’s boat. Now I have woken up. I now know the righteous way and what Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is. I know more than anyone why the CCP hated Falun Gong and couldn’t allow it to exist.
“Your call lifted me up and gave me courage. I was drowning in the CCP’s muddy water,” the man said. “I know that members of the Party can never visit the U.S. now. I was hoping to have a chance to visit the U.S., to see the free world. I don’t want to live like a pig in a pen.”
To encourage the man, the practitioner told him, “Sir, let me gift you a phrase: ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ Recite it often and it will keep you safe. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is the law of the universe. Once you assimilate to the Law, you are a good man, a man blessed by the divine.”
The man said, “Our conversation today opened up my mind and taught me how to be a better person. I’ll probably live longer this way and contribute meaningful things to the world. Am I right?”
The practitioner agreed and offered to send the man a link so that he could learn more on his own. The man gave the practitioner his email address and cell phone number, “Let’s stay in touch,” he suggested.
The practitioner agreed and said, “I am sending you a link to Zhuan Falun. I believe that you will find answers to all your questions. You are a lucky person to be able to read the book of the Great Law. Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, taught us the Great Law of the universe to save people with predestined relationships – including you.”
The conversation ended as the practitioner wished the man a happy new year. The man said, “Your phone call is the best thing that's happened to me. I hope you have a happy 2021!”
