1. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Held in Custody

Ms. Wang Xiuying is from the Gudao Oil Production Plant, Shengli Oilfield. She was sentenced to 10 months in prison on December 4, 2020, by the Hekou District Court and the Dongying District Court, which collaborated for over a year in processing her case.

Ms. Zou Peixia and Ms. Lu Qiulan were held in custody during the same time period. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Facing Trial

The defense lawyers of Ms. Xu Yanping and Ms. Li Suxian received phone calls from the Xiangyang District Court and learned that Ms. Xu, Ms. Li, and Ms. Zuo Ying was scheduled to be tried by the court on December 31, 2020.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Hao Wanling, Ms. Jiang Fengxia, Ms. Liu Huimin, and Ms. Jin Fengying were arrested and taken to the Jiutai District Detention Center respectively by officers from the Shanghewan Police Station, Jiutai District, on December 15, 2020.

Ms. Hao refused to cooperate with being photographed, fingerprinted, and made to sign paperwork. She developed high blood pressure and was taken home that night. Ms. Liu and Ms. Jin were detained for 10 days. Ms. Jiang has returned home.

Ms. Zhu Guijuan was arrested by officers from the Xinghua Police Station on December 23.

4. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Practitioners Ms. Gao Chengzhi, Qi, and Li (Qi and Li’s first names and genders are unknown) were reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong at a farmers market in Yangting on December 22, 2020. They were followed and arrested by officers from the Yangting Town Police Station. Ms. Gao was released that afternoon.

5. [Tianjin] Mr. Li Guixin Arrested

Mr. Li Guixin was arrested in recent days.

6. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Wenhe Repeatedly Harassed

Mr. Li Wenhe from Daxinzhuang Village, Xiantai Township, High-Tech Zone, was harassed by Zhao Jianli, acting Party secretary of the village, on the afternoon of September 7, 2020.

Between December 7 and December 23, Li Tongxin and township official Ge went to his home several times to harass him.

7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Xia Detained

Ms. Zhang Xia from Daoli District was arrested in early December 2020. She was detained for 15 days. She has not returned home yet.

8. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Over 80 Practitioners Arrested

Around December 12, 2020, officers from various police stations in Hegang City arrested and detained over 80 Falun Gong practitioners across the city.

The practitioners known to have been detained include Wang Haizhi, Liu Hui, Zhao Xizeng, Yu, and Hou.

The officers took practitioners to the city hospital for nucleic acid testing.

9. [Shanghai] Ms. Cai Yufan’s Pension Suspended

Starting in October 2020, the Xuhui District Social Security Center suspended Ms. Cai Yufan’s pension. She had been sentenced to seven months in prison and returned home on April 3, 2020.

10. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhong Yifang Suffers From Severe Uremia Due to Persecution

Ms. Zhong Yifang, 67, was arrested by officers from the Linjiang Road Police Station, Bingcaogang Sub-District, for talking to people about Falun Gong in mid-November 2019. She has been held in the Panzhihua City Detention Center for over a year.

She developed severe uremia and diabetes due to persecution. She was skinny and had a very swollen belly. She was still sentenced to four and a half years in prison. She was taken to the Chengdu Women’s Prison on November 4, 2020.

11. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Several Practitioners Held in Detention Center

Practitioners who are held in the Mianshawan Detention Center include:Mr. Luo Xiaoxing, who was sentenced to an eight-year prison term and fined 50,000 yuan.Ms. Luo Qiaoli, who was sentenced to a five-year prison term and fined 30,000 yuan.Ms. Luo Qiaoping, who was sentenced to a four-year prison term and fined 20,000 yuan.Ms. Chen Xiangyun, Ms. Liu Xiuzhen, and Ms. Nie Rongqin, who were each sentenced to a four-year prison term and fined.

All six practitioners have appealed to the Panzhihua City Intermediate Court.

Ms. Yan Baoping and Peng Chengpu (gender unknown) both are in their 70s. They were scheduled to be tried on December 8, 2020.

12. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Ren Linchen Arrested

Mr. Ren Linchen was arrested by officers from the Taohaotai Township Police Station and the Changshan Police Station on the afternoon of December 21, 2020.

13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhao Shanying, 74, from Erdao District, was arrested by eight officers from the Erdao District Domestic Security Division on November 26, 2020. She was taken to the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center.

Due to high blood pressure, she is currently being held in a ward controlled by the police department on the sixth floor of Changchun Central Hospital.

On December 24, her family went to the Rongguang Road Police Station. The police told the family that her case had been turned over to the Erdao District Procuratorate.

Ms. Yang Yanxia and another practitioner were arrested on the afternoon of December 23.

Ms. Ma Xiurong, a retired employee of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was arrested at home on December 18.

14. [Qishan County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Cai Lake and Her Sister Ms. Cai Lacui Arrested

Ms. Cai Lake and her sister Ms. Cai Lacui were arrested by officers from the Anle Police Station on December 18, 2020. Their homes were ransacked. It was reported that the two sisters were held in the Friday Hotel.

15. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Wang Kefu Officially Arrested

Practitioner Wang Kefu, 31, gender unknown, was to graduate from graduate school in half a year. Wang was officially placed under arrest in November 2020 and is being held in the Harbin City Detention Center.

16. [Da’an City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Huan Harassed

Da’an Education Bureau was instructed by the Da’an City Political and Legal Affairs Committee to send staff members to the Anguang Town No. 2 Elementary School. They brought the three statements for renouncing Falun Gong for Ms. Wang Huan to sign, but she refused.

17. [Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region] Ms. Tan Zezhen Held in Detention Center

Ms. Tan Zezhen, 72, was reported to the police for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was arrested by the Beihai City police on the morning of December 19, 2020. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated printed materials. She is being held in the Beihai City No. 1 Detention Center.

18. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Qun Harassed

Director Zeng Weibin of Yingfeng Road Community in Shifang City and two police officers went to 65-year-old Ms. Yang Qun’s home at the end of October 2020. They told her to sign the three statements promising to renounce Falun Gong, but she refused.

19. [Bozhou City, Anhui Province] Ms. Sun Guangmei and Son Mr. Gao Lei Harassed Several Times

People from the Bozhou City Brainwashing Center, the Lixin County Political and Legal Affairs Committee, the Huji Town government, the local police station, and the Hudong Community have been harassing Ms. Sun Guangmei and her son Mr. Gao Lei from November 20, 2020.

These people tried to forcibly “transform” the mother and son and ordered them to sign “guarantee statements” renouncing Falun Gong. Ms. Sun and her son firmly refused to do so.

They have so far been to Ms. Sun’s home over a dozen times. Their harassment has seriously disrupted Ms. Sun and Mr. Gao’s normal life.

20. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Fengxia Arrested

Ms. Chen Fengxia from Chengde University Town was arrested at home by officers from the Chengde City Domestic Security Division and the High-Tech Zone Domestic Security Division on the morning of December 24, 2020.

21. [Huai’an City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Zhang Xiaoming Detained

Mr. Zhang Xiaoming was arrested at home by officers from the Zhakou Police Station on December 7, 2020. He was taken to the Huai’an City No. 4 Hospital and the Huaiyin District Hospital for a mandatory physical examination.

He was held in the police station overnight and taken to the Huai’an City Detention Center in the afternoon of the following day. He returned home on December 22.

22. [Anhui Province] Ms. Cao Zhiying Harassed

Ms. Cao Zhiying was told twice in 2020 by the Residential Committee to sign paperwork to renounce Falun Gong. She refused.

23. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Gangli Officially Arrested

Ms. Liu Gangli’s case was turned over to the Procuratorate of the Economic and Technological Development Zone. She was officially placed under arrest on December 22, 2020, and is being held in the Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center.

24. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Dong Mei from Meihua Town was arrested by officers from the Guangdong Province 610 Office and the Meihua Town Police Station on the morning of December 24, 2020. The officers pressured her to sign the three statements renouncing Falun Gong and videotaped her. She was then released.

Mr. Pan Guanghan from Daxi Village, Meihua Town, was arrested by five or six officers from the Meihua Town Police Station at noon on December 24. The officers pressured him to sign three statements before he could go home. He refused. His home was ransacked. So far, he has been held in police custody for over 10 hours.

Mr. Chen Binggui’s brother-in-law also received phone harassment from the Meihua Town police on the morning of December 24.

25. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Shuyun Detained

Ms. Zhang Shuyun from the Jiuchang area was reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong on December 23, 2020. She was arrested by the Honggang District police and held in the Daqing City Detention Center. The police told her family that she would be released on January 1, 2021.

26. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Young practitioners Ms. Zhong Hua and Ms. Ran Wenfang were sentenced to prison by the Jinniu District Court in July 2020. Ms. Zhong was sentenced to a two-year-and-six-month prison term and fined 10,000 yuan. Ms. Ran was sentenced to a two-year prison term and fined 6,000 yuan. Both appealed to the Chengdu City Intermediate Court, which upheld the original verdicts on October 16.

Mr. Wang Guohua was tried via video link by the No. 1 Criminal Tribunal of Xindu District Court on the afternoon of October 22, 2020. He was sentenced to three years in prison. It has been two months since he appealed to the Chengdu Intermediate Court in accordance with the law. He is still waiting for a ruling by the intermediate court.

27. [Tianjin] Ms. Xu Guomin and Ms. Chen Shuanling Harassed

Personnel of a residential committee in the Binhai New Area called Ms. Xu Guomin’s family on the evening of December 9, 2020, and said they wanted to go to their home. She rejected them.

They called to harass her again on the morning of December 10. At 5:30 p.m. that day, two people from the residential committee went to her home and told her to sign statements to give up her practice of Falun Dafa. They threatened that they would keep coming if she did not sign.

On the morning of December 11, the residential committee members knocked on her door again. At 10 a.m. on December 18, two officers and two residential committee members knocked on her door. At 10:30 a.m. on December 19, the director of the residential committee and three other people knocked on the door again to talk to her family.

Ms. Chen Shuanling is in her 80s. Officers from the Shengli Police Station went to her home twice in mid-November and told her to go to the police station to sign paperwork. She refused. Two days later, at around 1 p.m. the officers pounded on her door again.

28. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Officers from the Tanfang Town Police Station went to Mr. Zhao Ziming’s home in Zhuangjiazhuang Village and secretly took pictures and recordings on December 18, 2020.

Officers from the Tanfang Town Police Station went to Mr. Dong Chuanming’s home in Dongjiazhuang Village to take pictures and pressure him to sign paperwork on December 31. He refused.

Officers from the Tanfang Town Police Station went to Ms. Zhang Ruifeng’s home in Gongyin Village and harassed her in early November. Her home was monitored, and she was taken to the Qingzhou City Brainwashing Center every day.

Officers from the Tanfang Town Police Station went to Mr. Yu Xinmin’s home in Sunlou Village and secretly took pictures on December 15. They confiscated a copy of Minghui Weekly. The next day they retruned to askre he got Minghui Weekly.

Officers from the Tanfang Town Police Station went to the home of an 80-year-old female practitioner in Zhangjiayang Village. They searched her pockets when they entered the room. After digging up a few printed materials, they took pictures of her and asked for the source of the materials.
