There had just been a heavy snowfall, but that day was dry and cold, and many people bundled up to take a walk outdoors in the sunshine.

In the early afternoon a large snowplow was clearing the streets of snow. As it passed the bus passenger terminal, a lady in her 60s was riding by on her bicycle. I heard a noise, then I saw the lady and her bike on the ground behind the snowplow, which proceeded to back up and run over her left leg. The plow then went forward, running over her leg yet again. Everyone who saw her get run over twice by the snowplow gasped.

The driver had no idea what had happened until someone yelled at him that he had run over someone. Stunned, the driver stopped. He got out to see what had happened. He saw the lady sitting on the ground with the bicycle smashed under her leg. He was shocked.

The lady said, “Please help me up.” An onlooker said, “Don't move her, her leg must be badly injured. Call an ambulance.”

The lady spoke up again, “I'm okay. Please help me up.” The driver was scared but carefully pulled her up. The lady stood up and took a few slow steps. People watching were amazed. Some applauded and said, “I can’t believe it. That plow ran over her leg twice! The bicycle was smashed, but her leg is okay.”

The crowd heard the lady reassuring the driver, “Don’t worry. You see my leg is fine. I am not going to blame you for anything. I practice Falun Dafa.” Then she told the people who had gathered, “Falun Dafa's Master Li teaches us to be good people and to be considerate of others in all situations. Everyone saw what happened here. I am fine. I am protected. Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa. Practicing Falun Dafa benefits oneself and others. However, such a good practice has been cruelly suppressed and persecuted by Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Everyone, please remember ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ When you face danger, repeating these words can save your life.”

I heard people saying, “Falun Dafa really is good!” “Falun Dafa practitioners are so kind!” “If that had happened to anyone else, it would be unusual if the person did not try to get money from the driver.” I also heard some women say to the lady in a low voice, “Don't be naïve—ask him for money!”

Someone said, “I saw something incredible today. The bicycle was ruined but her leg was not hurt at all. It was miraculous. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would not believe it!” Someone patted the driver on his shoulder and said, “You’re lucky, Anyone else would have demanded compensation.” The driver was deeply moved and said, “Falun Dafa is good, Falun Dafa is truly good!”

The bystanders then went over to the lady and asked her for the Falun Dafa pamphlets she had about the persecution. She offered them amulets, which they gladly took. Some of them offered to help distribute the materials.

While they were reading the flyers and admiring the amulets, the lady quietly slipped away.
