New Jersey, USA: Several Mayors Issue Proclamations to Mark World Falun Dafa Day

(Minghui.org) May 13, 2020, was the 28th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction and the 21st World Falun Dafa Day. In New Jersey, the cities of East Brunswick, South Brunswick, Sayreville, and Old Bridge proclaimed May 13, 2020, Falun Dafa Day. 

Proclamation from East Brunswick

“Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a peaceful and advanced cultivation practice system that centers around the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, and consists of five sets of gentle exercises, including meditation,” the proclamation from Mayor Brad J. Cohen of East Brunswick Township reads. 

“Falun Dafa was first introduced to the world by Mr. Li Hongzhi; and has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to improving health in mind, body and spirit, and to enhancing the well-being of people from all walks of society, who follow its tenet.

“All Falun Dafa activities, including classes and practices are offered by volunteers, open to the public, and free of charge; over 100 million practitioners in 114 countries have been benefited from practicing Falun Dafa.

“Falun Dafa practitioners in the community, including East Brunswick Township in New Jersey, across the United States celebrate the 28th anniversary of the public introduction of Falun Dafa and the 21st World Falun Dafa Day.” 

Mayor Owen Henry of the Township of Old Bridge proclaimed May 26, 2020, Falun Dafa Day to honor Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. 

Mayor Victoria Kilpartick of the Borough of Sayreville proclaimed May 2020, Falun Dafa Month, honoring Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.
