Harassment Fails: Righteousness Prevails

June 10, 2020 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) Not long ago, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in our local area launched a new round of persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. Officials from the 610 Office, the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, police stations and the local community committees harassed practitioners’ children and relatives, and tried to coerce them to put pressure on the practitioners to no longer practice their faith.

“Give Me Your Personal Information”

Ming, practitioner Amy’s son, received a phone call from a local policeman who demanded that Ming take his mother to the local police station, and threatened that he has to face the consequences if he didn’t comply.

Ming asked his mother if she wanted to go. Amy replied no. He told her that he knew what he should do.

He called the policeman and asked him to send his name, age, work unit, position, home address, police number, ID card photocopy, and a short video of himself. He told the policeman that he would hold him responsible if anything happened to his mother.

The policeman then said: “In that case, your mother doesn’t need to come.”

Husband Quit the CCP

Helen’s husband is a government official. He was afraid of losing his job, so he opposed his wife practicing Falun Gong. He even beat her. A policeman tried to force Helen to curse Master, but Helen refused. The policeman became angry and screamed. Helen’s husband said: “She never curses at anyone. She is a good person at home, and at her company. Why are you asking her to curse at someone? You are very wrong.”

The policeman knew he was in the wrong and kept silent.

After the policeman left, Helen’s husband said that he would like to quit the CCP. Helen had asked him to quit the CCP several times in the past, but without success.

“We Will Not Go”

Anna’s husband is a well-educated person. He is righteous and supports Anna in practicing Falun Gong. He told her not to be afraid. The officer from the community center called him and asked him to tell Anna to visit the community center. He knew that they would harass her again. He told him, “We will not go,” and hung up.

“I Don’t Have Time”

Tom’s wife received a call from a local policeman, who demanded that her husband come to the police station. The policeman used abusive language and threatened her. She was not afraid and replied: “My husband’s father is in the hospital. He has to look after him. He is busy and doesn’t have time to visit you.”

They no longer heard from the policeman after that.

“My Mother Will Not Go”

Liz’s husband received three phone calls from a local policeman, who demanded that she come to the police station. Liz told her husband that she would not go. The policeman then harassed her daughter. She said that her mother had to look after her son. The policeman then threatened her that he would report her mother to the provincial police department. She said: “Do whatever you want. My mother doesn’t have time, and will not come to your police station.” She hung up on him.

“Not at Home”

Several practitioners’ family members told the policeman harassing them that the practitioners were not at home. This way they protected the practitioners and avoided them being persecuted.
