(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in eightprovinces, where at least 27 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Jin Shaohua and Ms. Yang Xiaolin Arrested; Mr. Zhong Guoquan's Case Passed to Procuratorate

Mr. Jin Shaohua and Ms. Yang Xiaolin were arrested in a supermarket by the Mishan City police on the afternoon of April 17, 2020, and taken in for questioning. They were later released.

Officer Li Gong and others from the Domestic Security Division, Mishan Police Department, passed Mr. Zhong Guoquan’s case to the Mishan Procuratorate.

2. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Zhu Qiongxian Arrested

Ms. Zhu Qiongxian was arrested by officers from the Wuhua District Domestic Security Division and the Daguan Police Station on the afternoon of April 16, 2020. Her home was ransacked, and her personal belongings were confiscated.

3. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Yang Shulin Arrested

Mr. Yang Shulin, director of the Xintang Township Health Center, was arrested by officers from the Jiujiang City Domestic Security Division. His whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yuan Guomei Detained

Ms. Yuan Guomei from Qianying Village, Yangshuwanzi Township, Jianchang County was arrested on April 16, 2020. She is being held in the Huludao Detention Center.

5. [Luchuan County, Guangxi Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Lan Xiaobing and his wife Ms. Ya Xia were arrested in March 2020. Ms. Ya was released several days later. Mr. Lan was detained for 15 days.

Mr. Tan Yawen was arrested at a construction site on April 1.

6. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Shujuan and her brother Mr. Li Zhenzhong were arrested on April 18, 2020.

Ms. Bao Guiqin from the Fularji District was arrested by officers from the Hongbaoshi Police Station on April 19. Her Falun Gong books, printers, computers, and other personal belongings were confiscated. Her daughter Ms. Zhuang Ziyi and son-in-law Mr. Feng Hao were also arrested.

7. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Luo Guiqing was tracked and arrested in the Zhiqu Grocery Market on the morning of April 15, 2020.

Ms. Zhang Suzhen, Mr. Peng Guanghua, and a practitioner with the last name Li were also arrested, but they were released that evening.

Ms. Luo’s whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Liu Shujuan, Ms. Wu Yuelan, Ms. Han Xiumei, Ms. Li Guimei, and Ms. Li Shuyan were arrested on April 10, 2020. Their homes were ransacked. Ms. Liu and Ms. Wu were later released. The others are being held in the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center.

9. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Xiufen Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiufen from Majiadian Town was arrested by plainclothes police officers from Yiquan Town on April 1, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in the Beijingzi Town Open Market. She was released later that evening after police extorted 3,500 yuan from her family.

10. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Zuyi Arrested

Mr. Zhang Zuyi from Hongjia Village, Mengyang Town paid cash when he went shopping on April 14, 2020. The money had Falun Gong messages written on it, and he was reported to the police.

Mr. Zhang was arrested at home by officer Wang Qingxi and others from the Sanjie Police Station. He was later released.

11. [Qingyang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Cao Wenmei and Ms. Zhang Xiulan Arrested

Ms. Cao Wenmei and Ms. Zhang Xiulan from the Xifeng District were arrested on February 17, 2020.
