(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners have been clarifying the truth about the practice during the past 20 years. People are gradually awakening and the haze that blocked their minds is being lifted.
I have been telling my colleagues the facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution since 1999. Many of them have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. I've always encouraged them to spread the word and help their families and friends understand the truth and quit the CCP.
One colleague who quit the CCP also encouraged his family, and even distant relatives to quit. He often brought me a list of names of those who had agreed to quit.
When my colleague gave a truth-clarification booklet to his son, the son refused it and became upset. He argued that it had taken him a lot of effort to join the CCP back when he served in the military.
I encouraged the colleague to be more patient with his son. I said, “It was not long ago that your son was discharged from the military. He does not understand yet what has been going on in real society. It will take some time for him to realize the true nature of the CCP. He will change once he has been told more about the facts.”
I later gave him an audio player loaded with truth-clarification content for his son. The colleague’s son enjoyed the recording, saying that it was something he had never heard. He said he would like to share the content of the recording with his friends. A while later, he agreed to quit the Party.
I gave different kinds of materials to another colleague, who also helped spread the truth after understanding it himself. I told him that spreading the truth was a virtuous thing to do. He was happy to do a good deed and asked me on a regular basis for more materials to give to friends and family. I provided him with whatever he needed. He told his friends that the materials were rare and precious, and should be cherished. We have become good friends. Every now and then, he tells me about someone who wants to quit the CCP.
I have met many police officers. Some were nice and were happy to learn the truth. No matter what position they held, they were able to judge good from evil after understanding the facts about Falun Dafa.
I once met a retired police officer who told me he had cervical spondylosis. I suggested that he say, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” as this could improve his health, and give him blessings. I also gave him a truth-clarification booklet. I encountered him again twice and continued to clarify the truth. He agreed to quit the CCP. He was grateful to me and Dafa.
One day I chatted with an elderly man in the park. He told me that another Falun Dafa practitioner helped him quit the CCP. He had read the book Zhuan Falun and said that the book was great. He shared his perspective on the CCP, “The Party is going to collapse soon. Many people around me used to practice Falun Dafa, but then Jiang Zemin started the persecution. He never did anything good. He corrupted the entire society, and everybody says he is disgusting.” He asked me for some truth-clarification materials to read.
I saw a police officer in the park, whom I had previously clarified the truth to and helped quit the CCP. We recognized each other and started to chat. He is a director in a police station in another city and was visiting his grandson. He said, “After reading the booklets you gave me I distributed them all. I would like you to give me new ones when you get them. I will read them all and then distribute them. You can trust me. More people will realize the true nature of the CCP and understand that Falun Dafa has been wronged.” I told him he was doing a good deed. We arranged a time to meet, and I gave him a lot more truth-clarification materials.
We became good friends after being in touch with each other for a while. I shared with him the principles of Falun Dafa. He told me he had a lot of friends, some who were in the military, some who were mayors, and some who worked in the police department, procuratorates, courts, fire departments, and so on. He said many of their relatives practice Falun Dafa. He wanted all his friends to understand the truth. He said that the retired mayor had some time on his hands. He’d like to have a video player for the mayor to watch truth-clarification videos. I asked him to let me know if any of his friends would like to quit the CCP and explained how important it is for them to quit.
He later gave me a list of names of those who wanted to quit the CCP. I gave him the video recordings of Master's lectures, the book Zhuan Falun, and encouraged him to learn Falun Dafa. He was happy and grateful.
