(Minghui.org) The CCP virus epidemic broke out in Wuhan while people were busy preparing for the Chinese New Year. I was also shopping every day and took the opportunity to clarify the truth to people.
Wuhan was locked down at 10 a.m. on 23 January. The first few days, people were still able to go shopping or take walks near their homes. I took the opportunity to give out all the materials I had prepared to distribute during the Chinese New Year.
As the epidemic escalated, people were no longer allowed to go out. What should I do? Should I wait until the lockdown was over? No, if I waited, many people would lose the opportunity to be saved. I decided to clarify the truth to people by every means possible.
When I thought of making phone calls, another thought came up: “Isn’t it risky?” Then I had the righteous thought: “I'm doing the most righteous thing in the world. Master is protecting me, and I'll be safe.”
I previously told my relatives and friends that they would be blessed if they remembered, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” They all withdrew from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) and its affiliated organizations. I decided to phone them and keep them updated.
But I found that some already forgot what I had told them. Others just listened. Some even said disrespectful things about Dafa. I felt sad and realized that I didn’t explain the truth thoroughly before. They might have been poisoned by the CCP’s propaganda again. So I clarified the truth to them in greater detail. This time they knew that Falun Dafa would keep them safe during the pandemic.
When I phoned a woman I had been imprisoned with, she was excited to hear my voice. She said that she wanted to thank Master and Falun Dafa. She also thanked me for letting her know the truth of Falun Dafa and said she was blessed. She said her business ran smoothly and she now had a harmonious family life. She happily told me that she had a grandson who was born just before the city was locked down.
I felt so happy for her. I said in my heart, “Master, I will try my best to save more people, cultivate diligently and be worthy of your saving grace.”
During the lockdown our family grocery store closed, but people still came to buy things. I clarified the truth to every customer and helped them quit their CCP memberships.
One day I clarified the truth to a young man. He listened but didn’t say anything. While I was talking, I made a mistake and charged him 30 yuan less. My husband was angry when he found out.
The young man returned a few days later. When I apologized and explained my mistake, he paid the extra money without making any fuss. I told him about Dafa again. He was touched by my kindness and sincerity and agreed to withdraw from the CCP’s youth organizations.
It was just as Master said:
“… as a practitioner should follow the course of nature. If something is yours, you will not lose it. If something is not yours, you will not have it even if you fight for it.” (Lecture Seven, Zhuan Falun)
Practitioners need to do the three things well. Every morning I practice the exercises and then recite the Fa. I read Zhuan Falun in the afternoon and study Master’s other lectures in the evening. Time is short, and I dare not relax. I should not indulge my attachment to seeking comfort and enjoyment.
I went to the local butcher shop and bought two kilos of pork before Chinese New Year. The boss charged me 90 yuan. I was busy chatting with people and telling them about Falun Dafa. When I went home, I realized he had undercharged me by 10 yuan. I had to return the money to him.
I went back to the shop the following day and explained it to the boss. He was very moved. The boss and his son agreed to withdraw from the CCP.
I saw that a practitioner’s every word and action might determine whether a person will be saved or not.
During this pandemic that targets the CCP, we must seize every opportunity and let more people know about Falun Dafa.
