(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in eight cities or counties in seven provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. He Xiufeng, Ms. Gou Tianjun, Ms. Wang Dexiu, and Ms. Wang Peixiu from Wangcang County were arrested by Wangcang police officers on February 16, 2020, for distributing Falun Gong materials. Their homes were ransacked, and photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Dafa books, and printed materials were confiscated.

2. [Tianjin] Ms. Li Chunxiu and Mr. Xing Zhenhua Arrested

Ms. Li Chunxiu and Mr. Xing Zhenhua from the Ninghe District were arrested by officers from the Lutai Police Station on the morning of March 24, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Both practitioners were released on bail after they were forced to pay 5,000 yuan each.

The Domestic Security Division has turned the cases of Mr. Ma Wanlin and Ms. Lu Shuxue over to the Yinchuan District Court.

4. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Xie Qingfen Arrested

Ms. Xie Qingfen, 74, was arrested by officers from the Xinglin Police Station on the morning of March 27, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong at a supermarket entrance. The officers confiscated a computer, printer, Falun Dafa books, and printed materials.

5. [Langfang Ctiy, Hebei Province] Ms. Wan Hongxia Arrested

Ms. Wan Hongxia was arrested on the evening of March 27, 2020. She was previously sentenced to three years in prison.

6. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Mr. Luo Di Arrested

Mr. Luo Di was recently arrested for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. His home was ransacked.

7. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Li Wenfen Arrested

Ms. Li Wenfen was arrested by officers from the Baiyun Police Department and Qianling Police Station on the morning of March 17, 2020. The officers confiscated a printer, computer, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Dafa books, printed materials, and USB flash drives.

Ms. Li was taken to the police hospital for a physical exam. She was released when she failed it.

8. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Zilan and Her Sister-in-Law Arrested

Ms. Li Zilan and her sister-in-law were reported to the police on March 24, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong in Qianji Village. They were arrested by officers from the Tangyuan Town Police Station.
