(Minghui.org) First identified in Wuhan City, the coronavirus has rapidly spread to many regions throughout China and the world. Many places in China are on lockdown, heightening the atmosphere of panic. In some areas only one person from each household is allowed to go out, so the streets are deserted.
I was very worried about people's health and safety. As a Falun Dafa practitioner, I needed to try to save them. The following are some of the things I've done to reach out to people.
I mainly post stickers and hang posters on trees to clarify the truth. The Minghui website has published information related to the current epidemic and is a great resource.
I prepare the materials during the day and distribute them at night. The local government only allows one person from each household to go outside every two days. They must have a pass, and must register at every entry and exit. People who don't live in the community cannot come in. However, the community where I live is relatively relaxed and allows people to freely walk in or out at night. I think this relaxed environment was arranged by Master to help me save people.
I select articles related to the epidemic and place them in envelopes. On the outside of the envelope I write phrases about Falun Dafa and the epidemic that will attract people’s attention. I put the envelopes on car handles and in bicycle baskets. I also print pamphlets with information about the epidemic and Falun Dafa and put them in clear plastic bags. I hang them on doorknobs or directly give them to people. Fellow practitioners prepared information about the local epidemic situation and also made many small keepsakes with the words, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good!”
When we clarify the truth and advise people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, we usually give them information related to the epidemic and small gifts such as keepsakes. People easily accept them when they see the words, “Peaceful and Auspicious.” We tell them that sincerely saying, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good!” and withdrawing from the CCP has helped many people stay safe.
As the epidemic quickly spread I felt the urgency of saving people and had no desire to shop for the Chinese New Year. Master said,
“Dafa disciples are humankind's only hope for salvation.” (“To the Fa Conference of Europe,” Team Yellow Translation)
I knew I should fulfill my historic mission. I needed to hurry and save more people before the city was locked down.
I first heard about the epidemic on the morning of January 22, and realized the situation was urgent. On the evenings of January 22 and 23, I took a big bag of truth-clarifying materials and distributed them in various community buildings so that the residents could see the words, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good! Stay safe during the epidemic!”
On the night of January 23, after I distributed all the materials and was heading back, I noticed that the gates were locked. I didn’t know the lock down would be so soon, and I was a little worried. I quickly calmed down. I kept sending righteous thoughts and asked for Master’s help while looking for the exit. I soon found one gate that was still open, but workers were preparing to close it.
Practitioners should use their wisdom. If we're unable to get into the residential communities, we can use other methods to save people. We can post stickers on utility poles or trees, or put the truth-clarifying materials in bicycle baskets or on car door handles. No need to worry about people reporting us to police since there are few people outside, and we can do it at night. The more we do, the more we want to do. Without fear, I feel very tall and light. It’s more challenging to clarify the truth with fewer people on the streets. Before the lockdown, most people were willing to listen, and each day I could help at least three or four people withdraw from the CCP. Now, people are worried about getting infected, and keep a distance from each other. Everyone wears a face mask and walks quickly. I feel very sad that some people who can be saved avoid talking to anyone, and it’s more difficult to save them.
As a Dafa practitioner, we should understand people’s mindsets. Master said,
“Compassion can harmonize Heaven and Earth, ushering in springRighteous thoughts can save the people in this world”(“The Fa Rectifies the Cosmos,” Hong Yin Vol. II, Translation Version A)
I met an elderly man who wasn’t wearing a face mask. I realized that we met because I needed to clarify the truth to him. I smiled and asked, “Aren't you afraid of getting infected?” He looked a little embarrassed and said, “Bad things happen to bad people!” I was surprised, and immediately said, “You're right! Bad things don't happen to good people. It's a heavenly principle that good is rewarded and evil is punished. Please sincerely say, ‘Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’. You will be blessed and stay safe! Let me give a keepsake as a reminder.”
He gladly took it. When I asked him whether he had joined the CCP and its affiliated organizations, he said that he hadn’t because of his family. He told me he knew the CCP was very bad and would be eliminated. He also said that it was hiding the true details about the epidemic. He said, “It should have been destroyed long ago!” I suggested he sincerely recite the words, 'Falun Dafa is good' to keep safe. He thanked me.
One day, I clarified the truth to four sanitation workers. They were surprised that I was walking around and that I talked to them about Dafa. They wondered whether I was afraid getting infected. I said, “I'm not afraid because I practice Falun Dafa and I I'm doing something very righteous. Especially now, people need to know the truth in order to escape this disaster. Everyone needs to be safe!” They were moved and said, “You practitioners are all good people. You still come out to help people during such a situation.” I gave them information and asked them to sincerely say, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good!” One of them also withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
I send righteous thoughts each time I go out to clarify the truth. Because of the heightened urgency of saving people, no matter who I meet, including street vendors, sanitation workers, gatekeepers, etc., I advise them to say “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good!” People feel my compassion and are also willing to withdraw from the CCP.
When I go out at night to distribute truth-clarifying materials, I can easily enter the community buildings to distribute them. A few of the gates are somehow always left open. It seems that people know I’m coming to save them and leave the gate open for me. Usually outsiders can't enter or leave the community compounds, but somehow, I'm able to easily enter residential units to distribute the truth-clarifying materials. I know that compassionate Master is creating these opportunities for me to save more people, and manifests Dafa’s extraordinary powers.
Practitioners often say, “Master is always with us.” I truly know that I could not do this without Master!
This Wuhan epidemic is still spreading. As a Falun Dafa practitioner, I should do well the three things that Master asked us to do. We should stay on the cultivation path arranged by Master and cultivate ourselves well. Let us fulfill our historic mission and save even more sentient beings.
