(Minghui.org) When the CCP virus (coronavirus) began spreading, Hubei province was locked down. This was in late January 2020. In Master’s lecture “Stay Rational” published in March of the same year, Master said:
“You are not here to change history, but rather, to save people at this most dangerous time in history, by raising awareness, persuading people to withdraw from China’s three major communist organizations, encouraging people to sincerely say the magic words, and so on. All of these are the best medicine possible, the best way to rescue people—when people’s morals change, things will change for the better.” (“Stay Rational,” Team Yellow Translation)
I listened to Master’s teachings and clarified the truth during the lockdown, and helped people quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. When the lockdown was over, another practitioner and I traveled to local villages and knocked on each door to talk to people. If they were home we gave them truth-clarifying materials. If no one was home we left the materials by the windowsill or the door.
One time we traveled 100 km (about 62 miles) by bus to a village to clarify the truth. There were tea shops on both sides of the street and we distributed materials to each one. We distributed over 100 copies of Minghui Weekly. The following day, we went into the village to clarify the truth. The villagers were very simple and pure, and many praised us for doing a good deed. A village official in his 50s welcomed us and said, “Why don’t you come in the evenings?” I replied, “We distribute this information during the day so we can meet people.” He looked at the pamphlet and said, “I know about this.” He happily quit the CCP.
I went to the home of village’s Communist Party secretary, who was friends with my eldest son. He was playing cards with several other villagers as I smiled and handed him a pamphlet. He looked surprised and asked where I was from. He said that elderly people like me usually stay home instead of coming out in the hot weather. His wife cordially invited me to have a seat, and took three copies of the Epidemic Status Weekly. She offered me water but I politely refused, adding that another practitioner was waiting for me and we had to leave. That day, we distributed over 100 truth-clarification materials and helped 18 people quit the CCP. I’ve been to that village several times, and each time I helped many people quit the CCP. Two other ladies on the bus also happily accepted truth-clarification materials. Almost everyone from the village accepted the truth-clarification materials. Even though some villagers were illiterate, they still accepted the materials and took them home to their grandchildren. Only one elderly man refused our flyers.
Seeing how my grandchildren were all very successful in their businesses, most people in my village said that my grandchildren benefited because I practiced Falun Dafa. Whenever I return to the village, everyone asks for a flyer. My brother had one of his kidneys removed because he had kidney problems. The doctor said my brother had only four years to live. But by sincerely saying “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance is good,” my brother has lived for 12 years. This year, my brother, who is now 67 years old, was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer. People who are diagnosed with this are often in severe pain. My brother said that he had no pain, only that he felt itchy. He died peacefully. I know that Master alleviated his pain and suffering.
My daughter and son often invited me to go to a mountain retreat. Whenever I travel I take Zhuan Falun, music for practicing the exercises, and some truth-clarification materials with me. I always think about saving sentient beings. When our car stopped at a rest area, I saw a man sitting in a car with the door open. I took out a truth-clarification flyer and handed it to him. He smiled and accepted it.
We reached our hotel and stayed there for three nights. During the day, I read at least one lecture of Zhuan Falun. The hotel manager took us for some sightseeing. On the way there, I distributed truth-clarification materials with my daughter. When I distributed the flyer, it landed precisely on the front entrance. It was harder for my daughter to get the materials to land on the front entrance. She smiled and said, “My mother is stronger than me.” The hotel manager asked my son-in-law if I was a Falun Dafa practitioner. When he said yes, the manager said that he admired practitioners. The manager knew about Falun Dafa and the persecution, and said he had quit the CCP. I gave the manager and his wife some copies of Minghui Weekly and they were very happy.
My oldest son is 54 year old. He likes music and plays the xiao (a vertical Chinese bamboo flute). He and a group of friends joined us at the mountain retreat. On the third day, we decided to hike. The highest elevation was about 1800 meters (5,900 feet). It did not take much effort to hike up the first mountain. I then continued hiking on a second mountain. My son’s friend was amazed at how healthy my body was. He said that although his mother was two years younger than me, she was unable to hike up any mountain. After hiking on the second mountain, I continued to hike on the third mountain. The third mountain had a very narrow path, and even my son-in-law was afraid to climb it. Out of the seventeen people in the group, only five of us, including myself, hiked up.
It was not easy hiking up this third mountain. The path was very bumpy and it was full of rocks and stones. I did not feel tired and kept distributing truth-clarification materials whenever I could. I sometimes placed the truth-clarification materials in people’s pockets or gave them to drivers sitting in their cars. It wasn’t easy. When we stopped for a meal at a restaurant, I distributed truth-clarification materials to the boss and helped him quit the CCP. The boss also helped his sister-in-law quit the CCP.
My grandchildren all agreed that not only was my body very healthy, but also that I was a good person. After staying at the mountain retreat for three nights, I decided to go home. Everyone wanted to stay a bit longer but I knew I had to save more sentient beings and write my experience sharing.
My son-in-law comes from a family of doctors. He is the eleventh generation of the adopted son of Emperor Qian Long. Everyone in his family, including the women, practice medicine. My son-in-law has a predestined relationship with Dafa, and read Zhuan Falun twice ten years ago. He always believed Falun Dafa was good and supported me in clarifying the truth, and in my practice. When I lived with my daughter he never stopped her from going out with me to clarify the truth. Under their influence, my grandchildren also know that Falun Dafa is good. When they returned from the mountain retreat, they stayed at my place for a few days. My son-in-law told me he wanted to learn the exercises before they left. He said he had also watched Master’s videos on how to practice the exercises several times.
I realized that all Chinese people come from very high levels. They are here for the Fa, and I hope more Chinese people can learn about Falun Dafa and be guided to a better future! Thank you great benevolent Master!
