(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Hanover held their first information event of 2020 to raise awareness about the persecution in China. On January 18, they passed out fliers and displayed informational banners and display boards. Many people signed the petition to voice their support for Falun Dafa and to condemn the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of the ancient spiritual practice.

Angelika, a language teacher, already knew about the organ harvesting crimes in China. “I read the information online and learned of these crimes. The persecution in China is very bad,” she said.

She signed the petition and said she feels that Falun Dafa's principles, Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance, are peaceful.

A Chinese woman who moved to Germany 40 years ago said she believes that the CCP will be punished for the persecution. “The situation is very bad in China. Security cameras are everywhere. The Party monitors everyone’s every behavior and everyone is subjected to an evaluation of their behavior. The Party even monitors what you buy and who you talk to.”

She mentioned how China's constitution gives people the freedom of religion and speech, but Falun Dafa practitioners are still persecuted. Then she said, “People ought to have the freedom to do what's protected by China's law. I believe everyone should have the freedom to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.”

Retired dance teacher Ms. Gesa von Hagemeister believes that Falun Dafa's principles are outstanding.

She signed the petition to stop the forced organ harvesting and said that Falun Dafa’s principles are outstanding.
