(Minghui.org) I received an urgent phone call on December 25, 2017 telling me that my grandson was hospitalized. The boy was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor and had severe hydrocephalus, the doctor was planning to drain the fluid from the boys brain.

I couldn’t believe my ears! How could a 14-year-old have such an illness? I reminded myself that I am a Falun Dafa cultivator, and I needed to be calm.

I told my son: “Hurry up and keep reciting the phrases that I taught you and ask Master for his help.”

The boy was unconscious, and would undergo surgery, despite being in critical condition.

I asked him to stay calm and recite the phrases “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

My grandson was operated on around 9 p.m. I asked for Master’s help. Two hours later, my son told me that the operation was successful. I was grateful for Master’s protection of my grandson.

The operation was to drain the fluid, since the pressure on my grandson’s brain was too high. During the MRI, it showed that the tumor grew along the pineal gland. It is impossible to surgically remove it since it entangled with nearby nerves.

The condition was grave. The hydrocephalus caused high pressure, and the tumor was pressing on the optic nerve. The neurosurgeon suggested radiation therapy.

My grandson was in a coma. The neurosurgeon placed a shunt to release the pressure and drain the fluid, but the boy still had many symptoms, such as vision loss, memory loss, and weakness of the legs.

The entire family was in shock. My daughter-in-law was close to having a nervous breakdown. My son was searching for medical treatments everywhere. We all knew that the survival rate for this type of illness was very low.

I knew only Falun Dafa and Master could save him.

I visited my grandson in the hospital. He had a high fever, and various tubing protruding from his body. He cried when he saw me. My heart broke when seeing him in such a state.

I encouraged him: “You will be alright. Do you remember what I taught you before? ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ Let us recite that together.”

Then, I sent forth strong righteous thoughts, and asked Master to save him. I also let him listen to Master's Fa lectures.

He slept very well that night. His fever was gone by the morning! His parents also started to calm down.

My grandson likes listening to Master's Fa lectures a lot. The more he listened, the more he enjoyed. My son and I stayed with him again the next night. My son was up all night saying the Dafa phrases, “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness, Compassion Forbearance is good,” over and over.

My grandson suddenly had a gush of nose bleed the next day. My son rushed out to find the doctor. I knew Master helped him! The tumor dissolved and resulted in a nose bleed.

The doctor did not pay attention to the nose bleeding episode. They started radiation the next day.

After the radiation, the doctor suggested chemotherapy, but he also said that this was an incurable disease and my grandson had the risk of becoming severely mentally disabled, even if he could survive after chemotherapy.

Not wanting my grandson to suffer, my son gave up the chemotherapy and brought him home.

After they returned home, my daughter-in-law called me, and told me that she would love for her son to learn Falun Dafa from me.

From that day on, my grandson and I studied the Falun Dafa teachings and did the exercises daily. When the new semester began, he went back to school.

On March 14, 2018, he had another MRI. The report concluded: “No trace of brain tumor – in complete remission!”

Our entire family was in joy, our gratitude toward Master was beyond words.
