(Minghui.org) A 74-year-old resident of Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province was arrested on July 5, 2019 while putting up a self-adhesive poster about her faith in Falun Gong in an apartment building.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.

Ms. Wu Xiulan credits the practice for improving her health and elevating her character. As all legal channels to appeal for her right to practice Falun Gong have been blocked, she chose to put up posters to raise awareness of the persecution among local residents.

Officers from Liuhua Poilce Station ransacked Ms. Wu's home several days later. They next submitted her case to Linghe District Procuratorate and are pursuing further prosecution.
