1. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Guo Xin was sentenced to a five-year prison term and fined 10,000 yuan by the Shuangqiao District on July 23, 2019. He is living under police surveillance. Mr. Shao Jianguo was sentenced to a seven-month prison term and fined 2,000 yuan. Mr. Liu Jingchun was placed in detention for four-months and fined 2,000 yuan.

Mr. Mi Tiekui and the other practitioners were arrested on January 11, 2019. Mr. Mi returned home that same day.

2. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wei Xiuying and Ms. Li Ying Arrested

Ms. Wei Xiuying and Ms. Li Ying were reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong in the downtown area on the afternoon of August 2, 2019. They were arrested by officers from the Chang’an Street Police Station. Their homes were ransacked. Ms. Li was taken to the Jiaohe City Detention Center for ten days.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Lang Dongyue Taken into Custody

Ms. Lang Dongyue, who was displaced from her home in Yanqing District, Beijing, was arrested by officers from the Laoyazhuang Police Station, Qiaodong District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, on July 3, 2019. She was held in the Wangjiazhai Detention Center, Zhangjiakou City, and transferred back to Yanqing on July 13.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Hu Donglan Detained

Ms. Hu Donglan from Hangu District, the Binhai New Area, was arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of July 18, 2019. She is being held in the Hangu District Detention Center.

5. [Chongqing] Sixteen Practitioners Arrested

Sixteen practitioners were arrested by officers from the Shapingba District Domestic Security Division on July 23, 2019, for studying the Falun Gong teachings together at Ms. Wen Tingyu’s home.

Mr. Yuan Rong, Ms. Luo, Ms. Yu Jizhen, Mr. Zhao Jiayu, Ms. Yang Meili, and Ms. Huang Juan were taken to the Qingmuguan Detention Center.

Practitioners known to have been arrested and later released are: Mr. Zhang Yougao, Mr. Wang, Mr. Zhang Hongrong, Mr. Liu Chenggao, Ms. Guo Zhongbi, Mr. Xu Yuanjin, Mr. Zhang Yuanqing, Ms. Wang Xianglan, Ms. Wen Tingyu, and Mr. Zhou Dulun.

6. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Shuhua Arrested

Ms. Li Shuhua was arrested and her home was ransacked by officers from the Jiaxi Police Station on the evening of August 5, 2019.

7. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cong Ruimin Detained

Ms. Cong Ruimin from the Longnan area was arrested at the Daqing Train Station while on her way to visit her sister in Suihua City on August 1, 2019. She is being held in the Longfeng Detention Center.

8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Long Shufen Detained

Ms. Long Shufen from the Dadong District was taken to the Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center on August 2, 2019.

9. [Heishan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Lianrong and Her Husband Officially Arrested

Ms. Zhang Lianrong and her husband from Dongguan Village were arrested for producing Falun Gong materials on the evening of July 14, 2019. Their home was ransacked. The couple was officially placed under arrest by the Heishan County Procuratorate.

10. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Over 40 Practitioners Arrested

Over 40 practitioners from Weichang County were arrested by officers from the Chengde City Police Department, the Domestic Security Division, the Weichang County Police Department, and the local police stations on July 13, 2019. Their homes were ransacked.

Ms. Li Yuanhua, Ms. Wang Sufang, Ms. Wang Haiqin, Ms. Ge, Ms. Yu Yurong, and other practitioners were taken to the Laoxiying Detention Center. Male practitioners were held in the Beitou Detention Center.

11. [Huangchuan County, Henan Province] Ms. Yan Suqin Detained

Ms. Yan Suqin, 63, was arrested as she left her home, by approximately seven officers from the Huangchuan County Police Department, who were staked out there on the morning of July 30, 2019. She is being held in the Xinyang City Detention Center.

12. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Aifeng Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Wang Xiulian, Ms. Zhou Aifeng, Mr. Li Qinyu, and Ms. Wang Xiaoying were arrested by officers from the Mengyin County Police Station, and the 610 Office in early July 2019. Ms. Zhou was taken to the Linyi City 610 Office’s Brainwashing Center. The other three practitioners were released that day.

13. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Jiang Shisheng, Mr. Wang Pingsheng, and Ms. Dong Yuexiao were arrested by officers from the Haiqing Town Police Station in Haiqing Town, Jiaonan City, Qingdao City on April 20, 2019. Mr. Wang and Ms. Dong were released on bail for health reasons. Mr. Jiang was taken to the Huangdao District Detention Center, Qingdao City.

Mr. Jiang was tried by the Huangdao District Court on the afternoon of August 1, 2019. Mr. Wang and Ms. Dong were also called to the court by the police.

On the morning of August 4, Ms. Dong fainted after being threatened by the police. She was taken to the Zhucheng Hospital. After being treated she remains unconscious in the intensive care unit.

14. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Shumin Tried

Ms. Zhang Shumin was sentenced to a three-year prison term, and her appeal was dismissed. She has been taken to the Jinan Prison.

15. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jin Changling Detained

Ms. Jin Changling was arrested by officers from the Wangting Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong in Wangting Town on July 21, 2019. She was detained for 15 days.

16. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Hu Guiying Sentenced

Ms. Hu Guiying from the Xiejiaji District was arrested by officers from the Caijiagang Police Station for distributing information about Falun Gong on the morning of July 6, 2019. She was held in the Huainan City Detention Center. Fifteen days later her case was turned over to the Xiejiaji District Procuratorate. She was sentenced to two months in detention.

17. [Xingning City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Huang Longsi and Wife Ms. Liao Xiaoyun Detained

Mr. Huang Longsi and his wife Ms. Liao Xiaoyun were arrested by officers from the Xingning City Domestic Security Division and the Disofang Police Station on the morning of July 17, 2019. The officers ransacked their home and confiscated cell phones, music players, and Falun Dafa books. The couple was taken to the Xingning City Detention Center. Mr. Huang was detained for five days while Ms. Liao was detained for 15 days.

18. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yan Xiangli Arrested

Ms. Yan Xiangli from Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, was arrested at home on July 27, 2019 by officers from the Xuesong Police Station, Zhumadian City, Henan Province, who tracked him down from across the provincial boundaries.

19. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Qiying Detained

Ms. Zhou Qiying was arrested on the morning of July 20, 2019. The police confiscated a printer, a computer, all her Falun Dafa books, and photos of the founder of Falun Gong. She was taken to a detention center.

20. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Mao Kun and Five Other Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Jinniu District Domestic Security Division and the Chadianzi Police Station, including Meng Hong, broke into Mr. Mao Kun’s home and arrested Mr. Mao, Ms. Huang Sulan, Mr. Li Jun, Ms. Huang Suying, Ms. Jiang Defang, and Ms. Zhang Zhenhua on the morning of July 10, 2019. The practitioners’ homes were ransacked.
