1. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wu Yanhua and Others Face Trial

Ms. Wu Yanhua, Mr. Guan Xingtao, and Mr. Du Yecheng will be tried in the Ranghulu District Court on August 12, 2019.

2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yang Zhi in Solitary Confinement

Mr. Yang Zhi is imprisoned in the Fourth Ward in the Hulan Prison. He has been in solitary confinement since July 25, 2019 because he refuses to wear the prison uniform. He has been on a hunger strike and was force fed.

3. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Zhiwen Detained

Mr. Sun Zhiwen was arrested by officers from the Yongji Development Zone Police Station, who were led by Zhang Bo from the Yongji County 610 Office, on the morning of July 19, 2019. He was detained for 13 days.

4. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Zhongwei and Others Sentenced

Mr. Sun Zhongwei, Ms. Li Fengling, and Mr. Wang Zhigang were arrested on July 18, 2018. The Shulan City Court sentenced Mr. Sun to two years and six months in prison on May 21, 2019, Ms. Li to three years in prison and three years suspension, and Mr. Wang to three years in prison and three years suspension, and fined 2,000 yuan.

5. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yu Danjiang Detained

Mr. Yu Danjiang was arrested by officers from the Taishanlu Police Station on the morning of July 19, 2019. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a cell phone, a notebook computer, a computer, and audio players. Mr. Yu was detained for 13 days in the Jilin City Detention Center.

6. [Tianjin] Mr. Song Weihong Detained

Mr. Song Weihong from the Hebei District was monitored after he was spotted on a surveillance camera distributing information about Falun Gong on May 30, 2019. He was arrested by officers from the Hongshunli Police Station on June 30, 2019. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a computer, and other belongings. Ms. Song has been held at the Hebei District Detention Center.

7. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Liankun Detained

Ms. Liu Liankun from the Beichen District was arrested by officers from the Beichen Police Department and the Xiaodian Town Police Station on August 2, 2019. Her home was ransacked. She is being held at the Beichen Police Department.

8. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Bing Detained

Mr. Liu Bing was arrested at work by officers from the Yongqing County Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of August 2, 2019. Police ransacked his home and confiscated his Falun Gong books, Falun Gong informational materials, and other belongings. Mr. Liu is being held in the Yongqing Detention Center.

9. [Qianan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Xiumin and Ms. Guo Yuexia Detained

Ms. Liu Xiumin and Ms. Guo Yuexia are being held in the Qianan City Detention Center.

10. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Huang Weinan Detained

Ms. Huang Weinan of Huilong Town, Qidong City was arrested on July 29, 2019. He is being held in the Nantong Detention Center.

11. [Linquan County, Anhui Province] Ms. Sun Haiying and Ms. Sun Detained

Ms. Sun Haiying and Ms. Sun (first name unknown), from Tanpeng Town were reported when they distributed information about Falun Gong on July 20, 2019. They were arrested by officers from the Linquan County Domestic Security Division and the Tanpeng Town Police Station. They were detained for 15 days in the Fuyang City Detention Center.

13. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Shi Meiling Detained

Ms. Shi Meiling was arrested on August 2, 2019. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Kunming City Detention Center.

14. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Ai Chaoyu Arrested

Mr. Ai Chaoyu was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division, Chenghua Police Department on July 10, 2019.

15. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liao Guanghui Detained

Ms. Liao Guanghui, who lives in the Xinhua Factory Family Compound in Peicheng District, was arrested by officers from the Huayuan Police Station on the afternoon of July 20, 2019. The officers seized her notebook computer, cell phone, printer, CD burner, several hundred yuan in cash, Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and other property. Ms. Liao is being held in the Mianyang City Detention Center.

16. [Liquan County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Hao sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Zhang Hao, 49, was sentenced to three years in prison. She is being held in the Shaanxi Women’s Prison.
