(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces，where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Tian Xingbao Sentenced to Ten Years in Prison

Mr. Tian Xingbao was sentenced to a ten-year prison term. He appealed to the Hengshui City Intermediate Court. The court notified his family on June 8, 2019, that the original verdict has been upheld.

2. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Yuansheng Abused in Prison

Mr. Wang Yuansheng from the Jizhou District lost all feeling in his legs due to the abuse he suffered in the No. 4 Prison, Jidong Prison Administration on April 26, 2019. Mr. Wang’s family went to visit him on June 11, and noticed that he was very thin.

3. [Chongqing] Ms. Lin Zhongying Taken to Prison

Ms. Lin Zhongying was sentenced to a two-and-a-half-year prison term and fined 3,000 yuan fine. She appealed, but the original verdict was upheld by the Chongqing No. 1 Intermediate Court in April 2019.

Ms. Lin was secretly taken to the Chongqing Women’s Prison on June 5. Her family was not notified, and they have not been allowed to visit her.

4. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Jin Taken to a Mental Hospital

Ms. Zhao Jin was arrested by the local 610 Office and Domestic Security Division. She was taken to a mental hospital.

5. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yao Zongxia’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate

Ms. Yao Zongxia from the Luozhuang District was arrested in April 2019. Her case has been turned over to the Luozhuang Procuratorate.

6. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Fan Jumei Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Fan Jumei, from Shuangshipu Town, Feng County, was arrested two years ago for distributing Falun Gong materials. Several officers from the Shuangshipu Police Station broke into her home and ransacked it. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, printed materials, a computer, and printer.

Ms. Fan was sentenced to a one-year prison term to be served outside prison.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shi Guimei and Ms. Zhuang Shuyun Arrested

Ms. Shi Guimei and Ms. Zhuang Shuyun were arrested by officers from the Beijing Street Police Station on June 13, 2019. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Shi was taken to the Yaojia Detention Center. Ms. Zhuang’s whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Li Arrested

Ms. Zhang Li was arrested by officers from the Dadong Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong.

9. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Mi Yuan Arrested

Mr. Mi Yuan, 70, from the Mancheng District, was reported to authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong in Nuanyang Town, Shunping County, on the morning of June 18, 2019. He was arrested by officers from the Nuanyang Police Station, and taken to the Chengguan Police Station in the Mancheng District.

10. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Nie Bihua Arrested

Ms. Nie Bihua, 76, was reported to authorities on June 9, 2019, for using paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them. She was arrested by seven officers from the Wuhua District Domestic Security Division and Hongyun Police Station on the evening of June 14. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books and some cash.

Ms. Nie was held in an interrogation room on the first floor of the police station. She was taken away on the afternoon of June 15. Her whereabouts are unknown.
