Taiwan: Parade in Kinmen Calls for an End to Persecution of Falun Gong in China

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held a rally and a parade in Kinmen on July 13 to mark the 20th year of Falun Gong's peaceful resistance against the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution.

The parade began at the Qing Dynasty Military Headquarters Museum and wound through Kinmen's major downtown streets. It lasted one and a half hours.

Falun Gong practitioners held a parade and rally on July 13 to mark 20 years of peaceful resistance against the persecution by the CCP.

The parade passes through a historical gate in downtown Kinmen.

Safeguarding Human Rights and Supporting Lawsuits against Jiang Zemin

Weng Mingzhi, executive officer of the Kinmen-Matsu Joint Services Center of the Executive Yuan, signs a criminal complaint against former CCP leader Jiang Zemin.

A rally was held near the Qing Dynasty Military Headquarters Museum after the parade. Weng Mingzhi, an executive officer of the Kinmen-Matsu Joint Services Center of the Executive Yuan, attended the rally and addressed the crowd.

Mr. Weng said that the judicial system in mainland China is flawed and that several groups' human rights are being trampled. He further stated that the communist regime was attempting to extend its influence into Taiwan by hiring extremists to cause disturbances and bringing Communist Party-controlled media into Taiwan.

Mr. Weng said, “People of Taiwan, people of Hong Kong, the Falun Gong, Uighurs, and all people who love democracy and freedom shall unite and resist the CCP's infiltration.”

Organ Harvesting Reenactment Raises Awareness

Practitioners re-enact the state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Practitioners also re-enacted the communist regime’s killing of Falun Gong practitioners for organs in the mainland. Mr. Jiang from Taiwan said, “We should to let the whole world know about this wicked crime. People the world over should work together to stop this behavior.”

A solemn candlelight vigil was held to commemorate Falun Gong practitioners who have died in the persecution in China.
