(Minghui.org) As a Falun Dafa practitioner, I often go out to distribute fliers to help people understand the truth about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) 20-year- long persecution of the practice.

A number of people have threatened to report me to the police several times while I helped them learn the truth about Dafa, and the importance of quitting the CCP.

One time, a fellow practitioner named Chen and I stopped to talk to some people outside a mechanic’s shop, when the owner came out.

Once he learned why we were there, he argued in favor of the persecution. I said to him, “Brother, your conscience belongs to you and freedom of belief is part of our constitution. Yet the CCP does not honor it.”

He replied, “You stay right here. I’m going to call the police.” He walked quickly back into the office.

He came out a minute later and asked the people I had been talking with if he could borrow a phone. No one offered their phone, as they knew about the persecution and none of them wanted to side with the CCP.

I said to the owner, “These days nobody wants to be involved in the persecution of good people. Even police officers are now quitting the CCP!” He didn’t reply. I knew that all I needed to do was clarify the facts to him and Master Li would take care of the rest.

Another time, I approached ten people who were sitting around at the village plaza. I began talking to a tall man when the man next to him told me to stop and threatened to turn me in if I continued.

It turned out that the tall guy was a member of the CCP and was eager to quit, so I explained the process of submitting his name online. He was relieved and thanked me. The man said, “You had better leave right now or I'll report you to the police!”

He then took out his cell phone to intimidate me, but I ignored him.

I gave a woman a copy of the Minghui Weekly magazine, and she readily agreed to quit her membership in the CCP.

The man then started talking on his phone, “There is a Falun Gong practitioner here talking to people and giving out magazines. Hurry up, come and get her!”

I remained calm. I knew he was just trying to scare me away because he didn't say the location during his feigned call.

The other people there stood up for Dafa and said, “Falun Dafa is great. It keeps us safe. We want to know more.” I gave out more fliers and helped several of them quit the CCP as well.

I then talked more to the man who wanted to report me.

In concluding, another incident involved a man who interrupted my talking about the persecution and yelled out, “You’re Falun Dafa! Come with me to the police station!”

I responded without even thinking, “Okay, let’s go!” My only thought was, “The police also need to learn the truth.” The guy was stunned by my response, and his aggressive attitude relaxed.

I talked to him in depth about Dafa and the persecution. Everyone there listened to our conversation. Although he couldn’t completely accept the truth, he didn't reject it either. He stopped opposing me, as he could tell that everyone else present supported Dafa. They were all in good spirits. Another person agreed to quit the CCP after witnessing our exchange.

Master said,

“If upon encountering trying circumstances your thinking can be truly righteous, then, when faced with the evil's persecution and when faced with interference, just one sentence of yours fortified with steadfast righteous thoughts can instantly make the evil disintegrate (applause), and it will make those who are being used by the evil turn and flee, it will make the evil's persecution of you dissolve, and it will make the evil's interfering with you disappear without a trace.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. VII)

All the evil factors can do at this point is try to deceive us. As Dafa practitioners, we should not be fooled by their tricks, as every outcome is ultimately determined by Master. As long as we have the Fa in our hearts, Master will make the best arrangements for us.

In looking back, I feel that I had not thought of those who wanted to report me and only discussed the usual persecution facts instead of talking to them about the specific issues they were stuck on. When things aren’t going well, we should adjust our mindset, compare ourselves with the Fa, and let go of our attachments.

I really feel for the people who have been deceived by the CCP's slander and lies about Dafa. It is a truly miserable situation for them.

Although I still have loopholes in my cultivation and need to study the Fa more, I will always do my best to save as many people as possible.
