1. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yin Fengcai Disappeared 20 Years Ago

Ms. Yin Fengcai has disappeared since the persecution of Falun Gong started on July 20, 1999. Before that, she worked for the Dashitou Forestry Bureau in Dunhua City.

2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Update on Ms. Lu Guanru

Ms. Lu Guanru has been on a hunger strike for nearly a month in the Daqing Detention Center. She is weak and in serious condition.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Jianchun Faces Trial

Mr. Li Jianchun from the Jimo District has been held at the East Jimo Detention Center since November 22, 2018. He will be placed on trial on July 3, 2019. The judge is Gao Fei.

4. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Jian Guiling Arrested

Ms. Jian Guiling of Yongquan Township, Chaisang District was arrested and taken to the Chaisang District Police Department by officer Jin Zhiquan from the Yongquan Township Police Station on the afternoon of June 27, 2019.

5. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Hongzhu Imprisoned

Mr. Zhang Hongzhu, 73, was arrested and taken to the Bayan County Detention Center by officers from the Xinhua Police Station in Bayan County on October 8, 2017. The Yilan County Court sentenced him to nine years in prison on July 19, 2018, and he was transferred to the Yilan County Detention Center. Mr. Zhang is incarcerated in the Hulan Prison.

6. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Wenlan Arrested

Ms. Gao Wenlan was arrested by officers from the 110 Response Team on the afternoon of June 29, 2019, after she was reported for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Xinzhan Police Station.

7. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Xiurong on Trial

Ms. Liu Xiurong was tried on June 20, 2019.

8. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhao Shuxian Detained

Ms. Zhao Shuxian was arrested and taken to the Yushu City Detention Center by director Yu Tao, officers Liu Yan and Chen Siyu from the Yujia Police Station on the afternoon of June 17, 2019. She was detained for five days.

9. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Gu Zhengfen Arrested

Ms. Gu Zhengfen was arrested by officers from the Dafeng Police Station when she was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Dafeng Town, Xindu District on the morning of June 27, 2019.

10. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Mr. Ma Xiaohui and His Wife Ms. Liu Baohong Detained

Mr. Ma Xiaohui and his wife Ms. Liu Baohong were arrested at home by officers from the Criminal Team of the Wuyilu Police Station in Weidong District on the evening of June 20, 2019. The arrest was lead by an officer named Wang. Mr. Ma is being held at the Jia County Detention Center, while Ms. Liu is at the Baofeng Detention Center.

11. [Luohe City, Henan Province] Mr. Liang Junde Detained

Mr. Liang Junde, 50, from Linying County was arrested on May 24, 2019. He is being held at the Linying County Detention Center.

12. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhu Yachong's Hand Fractured in Prison

Ms. Zhu Yachong of Huangpi District was arrested on April 25, 2017. She was sentenced to eight years and fined 20,000 yuan by judge Wang Zhiwu of the Huangpi District Court. She appealed. Her appeal was denied by the Wuhan City Intermediate Court. Ms. Zhu was taken to the 5^th ward in the Wuhan City Women’s Prison on September 12, 2019. Her right hand was fractured as a result of persecution in the prison.

13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Jianli Detained

Mr. Lin Jianli was arrested by officers from the Luyuan District Police Department on June 14, 2019 when he was posting Falun Gong fliers in a community. His home was ransacked. His Falun Gong books, discs, and printouts were confiscated. Mr. Lin is being held at the Weizigou Detention Center.

14. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Shufen Arrested

Ms. Geng Shufen was arrested by officers from the Mingshan Police Department on the morning of June 25, 2019.

15. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Update on Ms. Hao Mingmei

Ms. Hao Mingmei was sentenced to four years in prison and taken to the Heilongjiang Women’s Prison on June 11, 2019.

16. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Li Zhuxiu Faces Trial

Ms. Li Zhuxiu, 69, was arrested and her home was ransacked on February 27, 2019. She has been detained at the Kunming City No.1 Detention Center since. It was recently confirmed that the procuratorate has submitted her case to Yiliang County Court. She is now facing trial for not renouncing her faith.

17. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Xiaoxiong's Family Files Complaint against Judge for Secret Hearing

Mr. Liu Xiaoxiong's family recently filed a complaint against judge Jin Hua of the Ganjingzi District Court, who held a secret hearing against him on May 20, 2019, without informing his lawyer, family or Mr.Liu.

Mr. Liu's family demanded the court to investigate the violation of the legal procedures by judge Jin and that the hearing on May 20 should not be acknowledged.

18. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Four Falun Gong Practitioners' Prison Sentences Upheld

The Linyi Intermediate Court secretly upheld the prison sentences of four Falun Gong practitioners on May 24, 2019 without an open hearing.

The four practitioners, including Mr. Zu Peiyong, Mr. Liu Naixun, Ms. Wang Xilan and Ms. Li Changfang, were sentenced on March 27, 2019 to between 2.5 and 3.5 years in prison for not renouncing their faith.

The practitioners' family members filed a motion to reconsider the cases against them on June 26. The judge at the intermediate court attempted to block their motion by requesting a lawyer's representation of the cases, which was not required according to Chinese criminal law.

19. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Bingying Tried

The Ranghulu District Court tried Ms. Li Bingying on June 13, 2019. There was no lawyer present in court. Only Ms. Li’s husband was allowed to hear the session. Other Falun Gong practitioners were refused to attend the trial because they wished to conceal their identities.

Ms. Li defended herself and clarified the truth about Falun Gong. When the judge asked Ms. Li if she still practiced Falun Gong, she firmly said yes.

20. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners Sentenced

Feicheng Court announced the sentences against six practitioners on June 13, 2019. Mr. Zhang Xumin and Ms. Liu Qian were sentenced to 2.5 years’ imprisonment and each fined 30,000 yuan. Ms. Han Yuehua and Ms. Lu Keqin were sentenced to 3.5 years’ imprisonment and each were fined 30,000 yuan. Ms. Ma Junting was given three years’ imprisonment with four years’ probation. The fine was 40,000 yuan. Ms. Hu Xiuxiang’s term was 1.5 years and she was fined 10,000 yuan.

21. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Changfu Sentenced

Xidayingzi Court had a secret session against Mr. Zhao Changfu on June 5, 2019. Mr. Zhao was transferred back to the Lingyuan Detention Center from the Chaoyang Chinese Medicine Hospital on June 17. Later, it was announced that Mr. Zhao was sentenced to 4.5 years’ imprisonment.
