1. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information on Mr. Wang Xinrong's Arrest

Mr. Wang Xinrong from Qitaihe City had been displaced due to the persecution. He went to the Shanda Hospital, West Coast New District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, to visit a patient on June 4, 2019. Officers from the Changjianglu Police Station, Huangdao Development Zone, Shandong Province, broke into the patient's room and arrested Mr. Wang at around midday.

The Qitaihe police brought Mr. Wang back to Heilongjiang Province on June 5.

2. [Yi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Hu Shenhua Arrested

Ms. Hu Shenhua was arrested by officers from the Chengqu Police Station on the morning of May 31, 2019. They took Ms. Hu to her home, and ransacked the place. The officers confiscated four copies of Falun Dafa books, ten DVDs, and an electric car.

Ms. Hu suddenly collapsed when they were about to take her away. She was later released due to having high blood pressure.

3. [Tianjin] Mr. Wang Yunxin Detained

Mr. Wang Yunxin was arrested by officers from the Yuhuajie Police Station in the Baodi District on June 3, 2019. His home was ransacked and Falun Dafa books and other personal belongings were confiscated.

Mr. Wang is being held in the Baodi Detention Center.

4. [Shanghai] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Hua Liping and Ms. Liu Fendi were arrested on April 24, 2018, and tried by the Pudong New Area Court on June 6, 2019. Ms. Hua was sentenced to a 14-month prison term, and Ms. Liu was sentenced to a 16-month prison term.

Ms. Cao Hongru from the Changning District was arrested by officers from the Changning Domestic Security Division on December 4, 2017, and was released on bail on December 25, 2017. She was sentenced to a one-year prison term by the Shanghai Municipal Court on June 6, 2019.

5. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Elderly Ms. Chen Xiaozhen's Case Passed to Procuratorate

Ms. Chen Xiaozhen, who is around 80 years old, is being held in a detention center. The Haizhou District Domestic Security Division turned her case over to the Procuratorate in January 2019.

6. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Whereabouts of Three Practitioners Unknown

Ms. Wang Rongfen and Ms. Zhou Xiuhua were arrested by officers from the Nanchansi Police Station in 2017. Ms. Jin Ying was arrested by officers from the Xinqu Police Station in 2016. Their whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liao Jie Taken to Prison

Ms. Liao Jie was arrested on the morning of August 2, 2018, while she was talking to people about Falun Gong at a farmers' market. She was later sentenced to a four-year prison term by the Zhuanghe Court.

Ms. Liao filed an appeal, but the Dalian Intermediate Court upheld the original verdict without going through a trial. She was taken to the Liaoning Women’s Prison on May 21, 2019.

8. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Two Sisters Appeal

Ms. Chen Guirong and her younger sister Ms. Chen Lirong were arrested on July 29, 2018, while they were distributing informational materials about Falun Gong.

Ms. Chen Guirong was sentenced to a three-year prison term, while Ms. Chen Lirong was sentenced to a two-year prison term. Both practitioners are appealing to the Dalian Intermediate Court.
