1. [Shanghai] Mr. Xu Yongqing Abused in Prison

Mr. Xu Yongqing is incarcerated in Hongzehu Prison in Jiangsu Province. He was beaten brutally three times in recent days. He has been subjected to forced labor for some time. He is now in poor health.

2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Liu Kexing Arrested

Mr. Liu Kexing of the Chahu Residential District was arrested on the afternoon of April 15, 2019. His home was ransacked.

3. [Xinle City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Xiuzhen Detained

Ms. Li Xiuzhen was arrested in the Xinle City Police Department when she was telling officers that it was illegal to persecute practitioners on the afternoon of April 9, 2019. The officers attempted to coerce her to sign a paper guaranteeing that she wouldn't practice Falun Gong. She refused and was taken to the Zhengding Detention Center.

4. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Mu Guiqin Arrested

Ms. Mu Guiqin was arrested downstairs at her home by four officers from the Chuanying District on the afternoon of April 11, 2019.

Ms. Qu Guiying of Xinbin County was arrested by officers from the Fujiang Township Police Station in Tonghua County on April 3, 2019. She is being held at the Changliu Detention Center in Tonghua City.

6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yao Xiuyun Detained

Ms. Yao Xiuyun, who lives on Xunye Third Street in the Tiexi District, was arrested by Beizhan Police Station officers on April 18, 2019. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Santaizi Detention Center.

Three practitioners from Beiying Village—Ms. Bian Yanjuan, Ms. Zheng Yanmei, and Ms. Li Yuemian—were arrested on March 12, 2019.

8. [Guangzong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Jia Lanzhen Held at Brainwashing Center

Ms. Jia Lanzhen from Wangzhuang Village, Chengguan Town, worked in another city after she fled home to avoid persecution. The police located her cell phone. She was arrested on April 11, 2019, by Zhang Mengkan, captain of Guangzong County Domestic Security Division, and others. She was taken to the Xingtai Brainwashing Center.

9. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Hua and Mr. Li Zhiqiang Detained

Ms. Guo Hua from the Guye District was arrested by plainclothes officers while she was telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong in the Guye Great Market on the morning of April 11, 2019. Mr. Li Zhiqiang was arrested by plainclothes officers at the same market for the same reason on the morning of April 12, 2019. They are being held at the Guye District Detention Center.

10. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Mu Arrested

Ms. Mu of the Laishan District was arrested on the morning of April 15, 2019, while she was telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

11. [Donghai County, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Chen Xiaowen and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Chen Xiaowen of Niushan Town was arrested by Niushan Town Police Station officers on the evening of April 14, 2019, when she was posting Falun Gong fliers in the town. The police ransacked her home, confiscated her computer and Falun Gong books, and arrested Ms. Chen's husband, who is not a practitioner. The couple was transferred to the Donghai County Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of April 15.

12. [Jiujiang City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Zhang Jiuying and Mr. Wu Shaoying Detained

Mr. Zhang Jiuying and Mr. Wu Shaoying from the Lianxi District were arrested on March 19, 2019, after they were reported for telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being held at the Jiujiang City Detention Center.

13. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Wang Qionghua and Mr. Chai Maorong Arrested

Ms. Wang Qionghua and Mr. Chai Maorong were arrested in front of their home on the morning of April 12, 2019. The police ransacked their home and confiscated 12 Falun Gong books, three computers, three printers, and two flat-screen computers.

Ms. Wang was released. Mr. Chai is being held at the Guandu District Detention Center.

Ms. Zhou Fengxia and Ms. Wang Yuqin from the Chuanying District were arrested by officers from the Beishan Police Station on the afternoon of April 2, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in the Leyuan Residential District. Ms. Wang was released on April 13 after being detained for ten days. Ms. Zhou is still being held.
