Ms. Bao Guiqin from the Fularji District was reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong on April 27, 2019. She was arrested by officers from the Hong'an Police Station, and held in the Qiqihar City Detention Center for 15 days.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Junmin Police Station in the Xiangfang District broke into 70-year-old Mr. Zhao Fengshan and Ms. Zhang Baoqin's home on the morning of April 24, 2019. They arrested Mr. Zhao, Ms. Zhang, and three other practitioners, who were present at the time. Their Falun Gong books were confiscated.

The officers took the five practitioners to the police station for questioning. They were all released later that afternoon.

3. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Qu Xiulong, 82, was arrested in February 2019. His case was turned over to the Haidian District Procuratorate, and then the court. He is facing trial.

Ms. Li Donghua from the Chaoyang District was recently arrested. Her Falun Gong books and a printer were confiscated.

Ms. Luan Xiuying from the Xicheng District was searched by a railway police officer when she took a train to Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region around April 20, 2019. The police confiscated her cell phone and 150 yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them. She was arrested at the Beijing Train Station by officers from the Taoranting Police Station when she returned to Beijing from Xinjiang. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Luan was found to have high blood pressure during a physical exam, and is now at home under police surveillance.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. An Chunyun and Ms. Zhong Arrested

Ms. An Chunyun is being held in the Dagang District Detention Center. On April 26, 2019, officers from the Shanggulin Police Station told her family to go to the police station to collect the arrest warrant.

Ms. Zhong, in her 70s, from the Tiantajie area of the Hexi District, was traveling to her hometown on April 28. When she turned in her ID at the East Railway Station Square, the guards said there was a problem with her ID. She was taken to the Tianta Police Station, Hexi District. Five or six people including residential police officers and residential community personnel ransacked her home and confiscated DVDs and pendants. Ms. Zhong was told that she will be detained for 15 days, but would not be held in a detention center. She returned home after 7:00 p.m. that evening.

5. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Xifang Detained

Ms. Yang Xifang was taken to the Laishui County Detention Center.

6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Xiurong Detained

Ms. Liu Xiurong, from the Nanfan area, Guye District, was arrested by officers from the Sigezhuang Police Station on the morning of April 29, 2019, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong.

Ms. Liu was taken to the Luannan County Detention Center.

7. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yu Xiulan and Ms. Geng Suhua Detained

Ms. Yu Xiulan and Ms. Geng Suhua from Nanmeng Town were reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of April 21, 2019. They were arrested and taken to the Bazhou City Detention Center by officers from the Bazhou Police Department. Officials at the detention center twice did not allow her family to visit her.

Officers and residential community personnel from Nanmeng ransacked Ms. Geng's home on the morning of April 23. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, Falun Gong calendars, and music players.

8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Shumei and Ms. Chen Arrested

Ms. Zhao Shumei and Ms. Chen from the Lubei District were arrested on the morning of April 28, 2019, when they were talking to people about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Diaoyutai Police Station.

Ms. Chen was released later that day, while Ms. Zhao was taken to the Tangshan City Detention Center.

9. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yao Xia Detained

Ms. Yao Xia from the Luozhuang District was reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong on April 11, 2019. She was arrested by officers from the Shengzhuang Police Station, and her home was ransacked.

Ms. Yao is being held in the Linyi City Detention Center.

10. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xie Guiqin and Ms. Pan Yingchun Detained

Ms. Xie Guiqin was arrested at home by officers from the Qijia Police Station on the afternoon of April 25, 2019. Her Falun Dafa books were confiscated. She was taken to the Zhangjiagou Detention Center.

Ms. Pan Yingchun from Xiaotun Village, Dongjiang Town, was recently arrested by plainclothes officers when she was talking to people about Falun Gong. She was detained for five days.

11. [Yuanping City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Lan Jinli Arrested

Mr. Lan Jinli, 76, was arrested at home in Xiaoji Town by officers from the Nancheng District Police Station on April 26, 2019.

12. [Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province] Four Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Deng Chengfang was arrested on the evening of April 24, 2019. Ms. Tang Yuling and Ms. Zhong Xiufeng were arrested on the following afternoon. Ms. Kong Lingxiu was arrested on the evening of April 27.

The four practitioners are being held in a brainwashing center.

13. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhou Xiaoqian Detained

Ms. Zhou Xiaoqian, 35, from the Nanshan District, was arrested around April 20, 2019. She is being held in the Nanshan Detention Center.

14. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Wang Deping Detained

Ms. Wang Deping was arrested by officers from the Lianhua Police Station on the morning of April 10, 2019, when she was distributing Falun Gong DVDs. The officers took a photo of her, and identified her through their computer system.

Officers from the Lianhua Police Station and Jinbi Police Station took Ms. Wang's house keys, went to her home and ransacked it. They confiscated three computers, small speakers, Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and Falun Gong calendars.

Ms. Wang was held in the Lianhua Police Station for a day, before being transferred to the Taiping Town Detention Center in Anning City for 15 days. She returned home on April 26.
