(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 10 provinces, where at least 24 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Zhou Feiyan from Yuelu District was arrested by officers from the Wangchengpo Police Station on the afternoon of March 18, 2019. She was detained for six days.
Ms. Wu Peiwen's case was turned over to the Jinping District County by the Jinping District {[Procuratorate}} on March 18, 2019.
Ms. Zhong Lifen was reported and arrested by officers from the Fangta Police Station on August 30, 2018 for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was released that day.
She was again arrested by the police on September 19, 2018. She was held in the Changshu City Detention Center. She was taken to Cell 208, Suzhou City No. 4 Detention Center around January 2019.

Ms. Wang Yuqin was tried by the Suzhou District Court on the morning of March 20, 2019. Ms. Zhang Guilan, Ms. He Niudui, Ms. Xu Huifang, and Ms. Luo Gengxiu were tried by the court that afternoon.
Officers from the Chaoyang District Police Station went to the Xinyunnan Crowne Plaza Hotel and arrested Mr. Shi Wanlin on March 9, 2019. Mr. Shi's non-practitioner wife was also arrested. His wife was released that evening on bail posted by the hotel owner. The officers later ransacked the couple's home and confiscated a computer, cell phones, and other items.
Ms. Yu Hailan and Ms. Li Cuihong were taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison on February 19, 2019. Ms. Yu has problems with her legs, and cannot walk on her own.

Ms. Liu Qiuhua and Ms. Li Yuelan from Xinzhuang Village, Shengcheng Neighborhood Administration, were arrested by officers from the Shouguang City Domestic Security Division and the Jianqiao Police Station on the afternoon of March 14, 2019. The officers ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books among other items. They were released the following day for failing the physical exams.
Ms. Huang Ronghua was arrested by the Minhang District police on March 20, 2019.
Ms. Dai Yumin from Hefei City, Anhui Province, was arrested in Nanjing about one week ago.
Ms. He Guofang, about 70 years old, was arrested at the Juyuan farmers market, Jintang County, on the morning of February 28, 2019 for talking to others about Falun Gong. Her family went to the detention center for inquiry, and they were told that Ms. He had been transferred to the Pi County Detention Center.
Mr. Zheng Xianjin was diagnosed with throat cancer after having a tracheotomy while serving five years at Xinmi Prison for practicing Falun Gong. He is unable to eat now and can only take fluids through a feeding tube.
After extensive examination at several hospitals, the doctor suggested he receive conservative treatment at home. The cancer-stricken man is now in a dire situation, as his wife is still imprisoned for not giving up her faith in Falun Gong and his adult children live away from him.
Mr. Song Xiandong was recently sentenced to ten months in prison and has begun to serve time at the Inner Mongolia No. 4 Prison.
Mr. Song was arrested on September 25, 2018, one day before his daughter, Ms. Song Sijuan, was set to fly to New York to attend a vocal competition hosted by NTDTV, an American TV station known for reporting uncensored news about China, including the persecution of Falun Gong.
The daughter and her mother escaped the arrests and are forced to live away from home to hide from the police.
Ms. Tian Lili has been kept in detention for more than seven months for her faith in Falun Gong.
According to her family who visited her on March 17, 2019, the detention center guards did not allow her to buy daily necessities for two weeks, including tooth paste and napkins, to try to force her to renounce Falun Gong.
Wu Xia, the prosecutor from the Shenhe District Procuratorate, refused to meet with her lawyer to discuss her case. Wu also demanded the lawyer persuade Ms. Tian to give up her faith. The lawyer refused.
