(Minghui.org) I work in a hospital. I met a young policeman accompanying his ailing mother about four years ago. He was in his 20s. I talked about the facts of Falun Gong with him. He said he knew practitioners were good people and he often protected them instead of following orders to harass or arrest them.

When he was asked how he protected practitioners, he said, “I work an early shift at a police substation. I often see Falun Gong (practitioners) distributing fliers. I didn't know them but I often saw them going into one apartment building after another with small bags. They didn't appear to be bad people. I just followed and protected them from the sidelines until they finished and left.”

I praised the young lad and told him that he would be blessed for protecting Falun Gong practitioners.

I knew a police officer who worked in the 110 Brigade. (China uses the phone number 110 to call the police.) Back in 2012, I told him the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution. He willingly quit the Chinese Communist Party.

He then explained why he already knew Falun Gong is good. “Two Falun Gong practitioners were arrested and taken to a police station in the county and I was assigned to pick them up and escort them to the detention center. They told me a lot about Falun Gong on the way. I knew they were good people,” he said.

Then he asked me if it was true that repeating “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” would protect him and keep him safe.

I told him it was true but that he had to be sincere while saying the phrases.

“Our patrol cars are on the streets around the clock and incidents are frequent. I will repeat the phrases to be safe,” he said.

About two years later, we met again.

He told me, “One day I was on duty and a call came in reporting Falun Gong practitioners distributing fliers. I intentionally delayed responding right away. But when I arrived, I still could see an old couple (Falun Gong practitioners) from afar. So I waited to see them leave before I arrived to handle the call.”

“You will be blessed for protecting Falun Gong practitioners,” I assured him.

This policeman, his wife, and his mother know the truth about the persecution and all quit the Party and its affiliated organizations. They are prosperous. Shortly after, he was transferred to a better position in a detention center.

His wife was promoted, too. His son is healthy and handsome.

He encountered many illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners in the detention center. He gave them time to practice the exercises in their cells and added eggs to their breakfast. When they were released, he told them to be safe (while talking to people about Falun Gong or distributing fliers) in the future.
