1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wansheng Taken Into Custody

Mr. Liu Wansheng was arrested on January 15, 2019. He was held in the Jinzhou City Detention Center.

2. [Heze City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cheng Fating and Ms. Sun Mongying Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Cheng Fating and Ms. Sun Mengying were sentenced to prison by the Juancheng County Court on December 18, 2018. Both practitioners appealed.

3. [Beijing] Three Practitioners' Cases Turned Over to Procuratorate

Mr. Wang Hong, Mr. Wang Shunli, and Ms. Wu Ye were arrested on September 6, 2018. They have been held in the Dongcheng District Detention Center for over four months. Their cases have been turned over to the Dongcheng District Procuratorate.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Cuilan Arrested

Ms. Li Cuilan from the Northern Area was reported when she was talking to others about Falun Gong on January 20, 2019. She was arrested by the Qinglong Neighborhood police.

5. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qu Yuanzhi and Ms. Sheng Shuli Taken Into Custody

Ms. Qu Yuanzhi and Ms. Sheng Shuli from Pingdu City were reported for talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of January 22, 2019. They were arrested and taken to the Zhugou Town Police Station.

6. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wu Peiwen Abused in Detention Center

Ms. Wu Peiwen was held in the Shantou City Detention Center. She was forced to engage in slave labor every day from breakfast until midnight. She was also forced to clean and wash toilets as punishment. Her physical condition is rapidly deteriorating.

7. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Mr. Chen Zhenlei Arrested

Mr. Chen Zhenlei was recently arrested and his home was ransacked.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Hu Zhiqin and Ms. Zhou Haiyan Taken to Prison

Ms. Hu Zhiqin and Ms. Zhou Haiyan from the Dalian Development Zone were taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison on December 18, 2018.

Both practitioners were arrested by the Dalian Development Zone Police Department and the Domestic Security Division on October 8, 2017. Later, Ms. Hu was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison, and Ms. Zhou to eight years.

9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yan Shouli's Case Turned Over to Procuratorate

Mr. Yan Shouli from Kangping County was arrested and taken to the Zhenbei Police Station, Kangping County when he was talking to others about Falun Gong on the afternoon of November 12, 2018. The police ransacked his home and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong. He was taken to the Faku County Detention Center for 12 days of detention. He was then placed under criminal detention and transferred to the Kangping County Detention Center. His case has been taken to the Procuratorate.

10. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Yanqiu Secretly Tried

Ms. Li Yanqiu was secretly tried at the Jinzhou City Detention Center by the Taihe District Court on the morning of January 21, 2019. The court did not notify her family. Ms. Li went on a hunger strike protesting the persecution. She is fed through tubes inserted into her nostrils. She is no longer able to walk by herself.
