1. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Jiahua Given Three-Year Prison Term

Ms. Wang Jiahua was arrested in December 2017. She was sentenced to three years in prison.

2. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Zaiyun and Mr. Hou Dongliang Arrested

More than 20 officers from the Xinhua Domestic Security Division and the Yunhe Domestic Security Division pried open the door of Ms. Liu Zaiyun's home shortly after 11 p.m. on January 16, 2019. They arrested her, ransacked her home, and confiscated many personal belongings.

Mr. Hou Dongliang, who was visiting Ms. Liu, was also arrested by Li Yi, an officer from the Yunhe Domestic Security Division, on a lower floor of Ms. Liu's apartment building. The officers also ransacked his home.

Both practitioners are being held in the Xinhua Police Department.

3. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Guo Yuzhen Transferred to Detention Center

Ms. Guo Yuzhen was arrested on December 31, 2018. She was detained for 15 days and transferred to a detention center on January 14, 2019.

4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qiu Meiling Arrested

Ms. Qiu Meiling was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of January 14, 2019. She was arrested by officers from the Cuiping Neighborhood Police Station in Qixia City. The officers searched her bag and confiscated three copies of The Ultimate Goal of Communism. The officers extorted 2,000 yuan from her family. Ms. Qiu was released that afternoon.

5. [Huizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhou Yuqin and Ms. Shi Xuemei Held in Prison

Ms. Zhou Yuqin from Huidong County was held in the No. 4 Ward, Baiyun Women's Prison. Ms. Shi Xuemei from Huidong County was also held in Baiyun Women's Prison.

6. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Gao Meiwa and Ms. Dong Yuying Taken Into Custody

Ms. Wang Hong, Ms. Gao Meiwa, and Ms. Dong Yuying from the Huyi District were reported for talking to people about Falun Gong on January 8, 2019. They were arrested by the town police. Ms. Wang was released for health reasons. Ms. Gao and Ms. Dong were held in the Lianhu District Detention Center.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cheng Yurong Officially Arrested

Ms. Cheng Yurong was arrested by Taoyuanjie Police Station officers on the evening of November 12, 2018. Four or five of them ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, an MP3, and calendars. She was taken to the Dalian City Detention Center on the afternoon of November 13. Her arrest was officially approved on December 20.

8. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Lu Xinyang Taken to Prison

Ms. Lu Xinyang was taken to the Xi'an Women's Prison on January 14, 2019.

9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Jun Taken Into Custody

Mr. Li Jun from the No. 1 Group, Xiaoyan Village, Ruiyun Township, Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, worked for the Donghuxiyuan Property Company in Wuhan City, Hubei Province.

Criminal investigation officers from the Wuhan City Police Department No. 1 Division, Domestic Security, and SWAT Team police, and officers from the Yujiatou Police Station and the Shuiguohu Police Station arrested Mr. Li and five other practitioners at work on the afternoon of December 26, 2018. The practitioners were taken to the Yujiatou Police Station for interrogation and then to the Qingling Detention Center in Wuhan City.

10. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Ximei Arrested

Ms. Zhang Ximei from the Xijiao area was arrested by officers from the Jiannan Police Station in the Jingxiu District on January 17, 2019. Six or seven officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, a printer, and a computer that afternoon.

11. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wansheng Arrested

Mr. Liu Wansheng was arrested by Jintie Police Station officers when he was talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of January 15, 2019. Exactly where he is being held is not known.

12. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Guixian Kept in Solitary Confinement

Ms. Xu Guixian was arrested at home by officers from the Tiexin Police Station on the evening of July 19, 2018. She has been held in the Jinzhou City Women's Prison for over six months. She had been kept in solitary confinement for some time.
