(Minghui.org) I'm a 52-year-old housewife and only attended first grade. I was weak and sickly as a child, and my illnesses increased with age. I suffered from headaches, lower back pain, heart disease, stomach problems, high blood pressure and rheumatism. My life was miserable.
Because I constantly needed to see the doctor, my husband became impatient and finally refused to take me to the hospital. One day, my back hurt so much that I couldn't stand up straight. My husband and I argued, and he angrily told me to crawl to the hospital. I was mad and stubborn, so I went to the hospital by myself to get some medicine.
After we moved to the city in 1997, I went to a well-known local doctor. He said there was little hope for me and that people whose condition was better than mine had died. He suggested one last option: “Try to practice Falun Dafa. They don't ask for any money. Maybe it can help you.”
As it wouldn't cost me anything, I decided to try it. That was in October 1998.
The first time I did the sitting meditation, my clothes were soaked in sweat, which smelled like the medicine I took. I knew that the Teacher of Falun Dafa was cleansing my body.
I woke up the next morning refreshed and relaxed. Amazingly, all my illnesses disappeared! Twenty-one years later, I'm still energetic and easily handle my daily chores.
I was very grateful to Teacher for saving me, so I wanted to spread the benefits of Dafa to others. I asked for Teacher’s help so that I could bring people informational materials about Dafa. I believed that they would tell their friends and relatives. This way, hundreds or even thousands of people could be saved.
Compassionate Teacher granted my wish. I'd like to share a few stories.
My husband and I were hired to lay floor tiles for the son of a retired officer from the public security bureau. We paid attention to detail and went a day early to prepare the floor. After we finished laying the tiles, we cleaned up immediately, before the cement became too hard to remove. We even cleaned the rest of the house.
The officer said that he had never seen such responsible and reliable workers. I gave him flyers and a DVD about Dafa. He accepted them happily and said, “I believe in Falun Dafa!”
He and his son were very satisfied with our work, and they said that the communist regime’s persecution of Dafa was wrong and agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
I met a policeman in a public square one time and talked to him about the persecution. I asked whether he knew about Falun Dafa and if he had ever participated in the persecution. He said that he knew Dafa was good and peaceful, so he refused to persecute practitioners. However, he didn't understand why practitioners handed out materials.
I explained that practitioners do this to let people know the truth, as the CCP slanders Dafa through the media. I said that people who have joined the Party should withdraw from it to avoid being implicated in its crimes.
The policeman agreed and used his real name to quit the CCP.
A woman who works in a nursing home looked for me after I gave her information about Falun Dafa one time. She told me that over 100 seniors lived in the nursing home. They enjoyed reading the materials so much that they took them from her before she could read them herself.
Their administrator praised her for bringing such good information, so she asked me for more materials to give to the residents.
When I spoke to an elderly woman collecting garbage, she agreed that good deeds are rewarded and believed in Falun Dafa’s principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” without hesitation.
She thanked me for telling her this information and for helping her to quit the Party. I told her to thank Teacher instead of me. She said happily, “Thank you, Teacher! Thank you, Teacher!”
As I walked down the street, I heard hundreds of voices calling out, “Thank you, Teacher! Thank you, Teacher!” I knew they were the sentient beings in the elderly woman's dimension. I couldn't help but cry after hearing the gratitude of sentient beings who longed to be saved.
